You're tough. I admire the drive. I am a gym rat and love my torture, too. Sorry you had to suffer through rest of the race -- better luck next time, since I am sure there will be one! PS: I know you're a Packers fan. That automatically enters you into the Hall of Pain, fanwise. Again, better luck next time (this season!)

no plans, but there's always the gym or the office, for something to do. patty melt or sub sandwich?
-
nope, I usually don't remember what I was dreaming about. The person below me didn't speak to another living person yesterday.
-
I don't at the moment. I don't bake the cookies I used to make that required it, anymore. The person below me has broken their nose.
-
Go back to bed. I am tired of always having to accomplish something. icy or hot?
-
I agree, VM. You're probably right. I think someone will make him an offer. I also think he won't like it, and we won't see him back in the NHL. But, stranger things have happened!
-
You know, I doubt that will happen. There's an article today where he says he won't play 2nd fiddle: Hasek remained confident about his ability to play goalie. "The NHL is the best show in the world. I want to play but I don't want to be a backup goalie, I still believe I can play on the highest level." Color me "not surprised" by this comment. That's Dom. Big Dog, or not at the party. If some NHL team wants a goalie who never entertains the idea of losing, and needs a key player who will rip his skaters' head off if/when they don't show up for a shift... you just might want Hasek. Love him or hate him, Dom attracts the media by simply coming to practice. Good or bad, he's a sure headline, every time. Hasek brings heart and desire to the ice, and makes any team he plays on better. Someone will make him an offer. It won't be Detroit, I suspect. He won't go to a non-contender. The caliber of the management and the roster in front of him will play a big part in any decision. I am looking at Tampa Bay as a candidate.

Why not? itchy or scratchy?

I am pretty idle today, so yeah, I am ready for that. The person below me has a hard time accepting compliments.
-
Pick it up if it's heads-up. Otherwise, turn it over and leave it... you have good luck because you left good luck for the next person. Pay it forward. shrimp cocktail or fried shrimp?
-
Of course, I would love to see him come back and have a great season in the NHL. I just have a feeling he won't agree to go just anywhere, though. He's odd, like that... And having been his biggest fan for his entire career, I will be the first to say, I have NO idea what he's thinking.
-
Ow. I hope Dom isn't coming back to Detroit. They are committed to Jimmy and J-Mac is a fine backup. I do think it would be awesome to see Buffalo pick him up as back up to Miller and let them tandem. The Sabres could win a Cup with him... that is, if Bettman doesn't give it away on an illegal goal again.

Not really, and it's extensive and hard work, too. But better than sitting behind a desk for 10 hours a day. That's harder. The person below me wants a waffle.

That is an awesome picture, they look SO proud of you!! Sweet!! Cherish the memories, dear. Hey, John... only crazy people look that happy while torturing themselves. I get it, though. I am a workout fanatic, sweat is good! Glad you found something you enjoy doing so much.

casual. I don't go anywhere to dress up, so I don't waste the money on nice clothes. open or closed?
-
Nope. On my lonesome. Unless you count working in the yard, and cleaning out the garage... then I could say I am busy. The person below me has (or had) a bunion.

Nope, I haven't had ice cream in a long time. There's a new flavor out in Blue Bell, though. Red Velvet Cake. chocolate ice cream, chuks of red velvet cake, and a swirl of cream cheese icing through it. I might die, just typing this... Blue Bell, for the non-Texans, is nirvana ice cream from Brenham, TX, where the cows think it's heaven. The person below me just needs a break.

It will not end. Mankind might not be here, but the world will carry on. More absurd: 500 pages of TPBM game, or 1000+ pages of Hottest Wings?
-
No, I like certain dishes and always put my little repast in one of them, so it's pretty. The person below me can't stand a messy kitchen and cleans up as they go, when cooking a dish.

AA Center (the Hangar) is a beautiful basketball venue. It absolutely sucks to try to watch hockey there. It is too steep and you can't see the corners, so you learn to watch the game on the jumbotron - admittedly one of the coolest jumbotrons I've seen. I am very glad I have been able to catch a few games at the Joe before they dump it. What a shame, when/if that happens.

I have an aversion to ceiling and overhead lights. Table lamps, I like. staple or paperclip?
-
Yes, I have. The icky part is un-installing the old one. Gross. The person below me has broken their phone before.
-
yes, please! This ^^^

The present isn't particularly pleasant, but the future isn't something I think about much. Too many variables and things I can't do anything to prevent or change. passive or aggressive?
-
Of course, what color would you like? I take care of a house alone... duct tape and vice grips are essential. The person below me still uses a calculator sometimes.
