I can imagine the backlash if a Red Wing had purposely grabbed an opponent's head and smashed it into the glass - and in effect skated away laughing. Funny joke, now the Preds think they are right and clever. Actually I can't imagine this, since no Red Wing would do such a thing. But it's all hypothetical, I guess... wrong is wrong. I am sacrificing my strict diet to help the Wings. I always munch these during playoff games, and to date, have not indulged. GO, WINGS! I am giving you all I have here!!

I don't think he's an animal. I think he has poor judgement, and got away with it. Additionally, we have the fans and media glorifying his actions. I think we should go all "Suh" on the Preds, personally. Skates would just make it a little more interesting.

How I wish... I live for the day that we have a player again on the roster who makes other teams think twice and look over their shoulders if they dare hassle a Red Wing.

I was at a game in April 2011, in Nashville, when Bert fought twice, and beat down the Preds both times. The Wings came back from an 0-3 deficit, and tied it, then won in OT. It was thrilling to see the "real" Wings. I want to see that again, please, my Wings. Come out firing on all 'imported from Detroit' cylinders and grind them into dust. edit: Shocktop here
