Considering I read on another board that the brilliant Preds fans are planning to chant "Z's a Sissy" in the next game, I believe I will refrain from trolling the Preds or their fans in any way. I wouldn't want to sink as low as they are. I am a big fan of cheering FOR my team, however. I love the guys we have. I think the home crowd will only do their hearts good. Blow the roof off cheering for them, local folks!!

The message has been sent and it is now going to be open season on the Wings. Preds know nothing will happen to them. I am concerned.

Wings in 6. I am not afraid of the Preds and like that the match-up is closer to home, so time zone issues won't be a problem... or excuse. The Wings simply MUST play the entire game, and not the last 10 minutes of the 4rd, or they're done for, however. Preds will not roll over, by any stretch. As for Peckerini, he has the edge on size -- Jimmy simply can't make himself into a 6'5" giant. I have no reservations about Jimmy Howard. None. He's proved over and over this season that he's the reason we're in a lot of games at all. Jimmy's quick and our D will step up. We have more depth across the board, aside from goal. Equalizer! Offense scares me more, however, I think several players have another gear (Mule, I am looking at you) which I sincerely hope they engage for this round. Can the Wings bring it? Yes, I believe they can do this. One period, one game, one round at a time. Go, Wings!!

Statue of Liberty gaffe, just because it was Waahhh... and watching him get chased in game 7. Sweet. Settled forever who was the better goalie of that era, which I already knew. Hasek's saves in the Canucks series, esp. Game 4, were crucial. Jovo skating away with his eyes rolled heaven-ward knowing they were not going to get anything past Dom... priceless. The Wings juggernaut never looked back past that point in the playoffs. Lots of other moments, like Bob "Measure This" Hartley making a fool of himself... well, just beating the Avs, period, was memorable.

I love you. Go, Wings! Get one of those things we don't mention and motor on strong to the playoffs. Can't wait!!
