    my local cable company HATES hockey, hate it. we cannot even get NHL Network here. If they learn that Versus is now going to be a more legitimate sports network, with hockey (and few wacky groin-related blooper shows), they will probably take it off the cable tier.

    not that I know of... are you somewhere with no TV? So far, I am unimpressed with NBC's efforts... the feed keep going offline -- on my digital cable. What the hell? I have a black screen right now... only NBC is off air. Lovely. this does NOT bode well for the NBC takeover of Versus, in my opinion.
