whistle or hum, I cannot sing... not even a little bit. eat blackeyed-peas today for luck? or no, that's silly and I don't like them.
-
can't get the game, but am watching the scoreboard/gamecast, Lions vs. Packers. The person below me is cleaning house today... fresh start, and all.

that's good. Let's see whether Shanny thinks Abby deserves a suspension for hitting himself in the head. j/k Abby came back and played well. So it could wind up like the accident I was in a few years back where a drunk driver ran a red light and totalled my car. He got no jail time because "no one died." edit: spelling

Still wondering if there is a suspension coming for Cole, for the head hit on Abdelkader. According to Cole, Abby put his own head into Cole's innocent shoulder. It's the Pronger Theory of intent to injure -- make it the other player's fault. all Abby's fault! The hit might result in disciplinary action (fine or suspension) from NHL vice president of player safety Brendan Shanahan. "I don’t like the hit, the hit should be a suspension, for sure," Babcock said. "But I thought Abby did a real good job and he played well the last two periods, more ice time. He played against good players and played well." Said Cole: "I just stepped up. I think he saw me coming at the last second and tried to cut back inside real quick. I had him lined up. I wasn’t going to go high. I wasn’t going to go for the head. I was just going for his shoulder. He tried to cut back and avoid and he put his head right into my shoulder." we saw what you did, Cole. but nice try!

No resolutions for me... I resolve to do better at lots of things all the time. I do like to clean up and have everything in my house all spiffy to begin a new calendar, however. sleep in on vacation... or get up and get going, don't want to waste a second!

You betcha! I wish it was today, I got confused for a bit with this Monday New Years Day on January 2nd. The person below me is not hung over this morning.

Love San Diego, don't you, Jack? You look great, hope you had fun! I already posted this elsewhere, but I like it -- and it's my only pic with a Wing... and my face showing. Taken by ChelisChick in Nashville, 12/26/2011. Flip scored two goals for me, and an assist, vs. the Preds in a great game...

Happy New Year to us all at LGW! Mike, I am so glad you got to go to this game, what an awesome way to usher in the new year. Go, Wings!!
-
Have fun, Mike! They will win for you! Happy New Year!!!
-
They picked Nick because everyone else hates Perry and wouldn't get in the car with him. Nick is Perfect and untouchable, so he volunteered. Nick is also legitimately an All Star, Perry is not. BTW, rocks are better actors than Ozzie and Drapes. Nick did OK.

it's ok, I never got hooked on it, or any other show lately... The person below me is staying in tonight.

running shoes, or flip flops... we don't really "do" winter here. stay up til midnight or just go to bed, the calendar will change, regardless...
-
Deliver another beating to these mokes, please, Wings. I will be watching -- have fun, all who are attending!!
-
not really, thankfully. I don't remember many of my dreams at all, though I am sure I have them. The person below me is making something yummy for dinner tonight.
-
I will watch them for you! Check in when you can, for sure. xoxo

It's not a silly idea. I like it. I have a white Wings jersey I had made in 2002 with STANLEY for the player name and 10 for the number. It's my 'forever' 2002 jersey, since they got their 10th Cup that year. I would be more than happy to get it changed to 12 this season.
-
Eyes, but I don't mind watching some of them walk away, either. drive yourself to the airport and park, or have someone take you and pick you up?
-
I have no doubt. Ask him about the baby, and his whole face lights up, it's very sweet. Thankfully, it seemed to make him play better, not worse as sometimes happens (Mule) with new dads. The person below me is off work until after New Years.
-
what's going on, Mike, do you have to work? I will watch them for you, no fear!! Wings will come out firing on all cylinders and Chicago will have to really work for it if they get anything on us. If the last two games are any indication, the western Canada games made them unhappy with their efforts. I was at the 12/26 Nashville Preds/Wings game -- and it might have been one of the best efforts I've seen from the Wings, collectively, this season. St. Louis, same thing. More please!!
-
OK, then!
-
so Commodore really does play for the Wings? I thought he was a figment of my roster-imagination. Why isn't Ericsson sitting? Rhetorical question, and I don't normally jump on the player-bashing train, but he's a liability out there, on a given night.
-
scary stuff, ain't it? The league disallowed Vancouver's goal where Jimmy got run over last night. Too bad it was today and too late, eh? I am sure the Can-sucks are very pleased about that. Maybe the stripes will stay the hell out of the way tonight, too. That would be nice.

I always think Christmas morning is the best time to celebrate, but have no family, so what do I know? Lots of people have to do both days, as they have extended families or other obligations... either is good, I suppose. Champagne or sparkling cider?
-
Not a problem. Dom IS red #39. I actually think the number should be retired league-wide, as 39 means only one player to me, ever. All others are pallid pretenders. The person below me thinks the number 39 should be retired in Buffalo

They shouldn't be tired. It's not like they over-exerted themselves in last night's game. I for one am glad to see Conks get a chance, even if he is getting the tail-end of a road trip with a team which will not stand up for its Number One. Stand on your head, Conks, silence the nay-sayers. I've got your back, here. I would hope the Wings would want to show up tonight and play tough. I can hope!!
