More than once, in ND, Iowa and Minnesota... I haven't always lived here. The person below me like home improvement shows on TV.

there are a lot of pictures of the funeral on Yahoo sports pictures and elsewhere. They are heartbreaking. I can't wrap my mind around the idea that Ruslan is dead and in that coffin. Same goes for Beast and Liv, and all of the guys on the team. The grief is so tangible, and so terrible. Link

nope, no meetings coming up. That's what I dread. As a consultant, that is not a good thing. The person below me is weary of paying all the bills.

full moon, ooowooooooo!!!! (werewolf howl!!) Mardi Gras or Carnival?
-
If I were so lucky as to get to attend any part of training camp, I would have a banner or sign or t-shirt -- something -- with the names and numbers of our fallen players and coach on it. RIP, gentlemen

Ryan Kennedy, Hockey News This is a great, sensitive piece on the rebuilding of Locomotiv. Well done! I will be a fan, in my heart.

I just watched the funeral mass at the arena clip, and cried all the way through it. I couldn't watch it at work, as no one there would have understood why I was crying my eyes out. This may be the saddest thing I've ever seen... so senseless and tragic. Rest in peace, all, you will be remembered.

it's been a long time since i had any new clothes... but I always like finding the number of the inspector in the pocket.

Maybe it's my age or my general dislike/disinterest in "social media" but why do people post meaningless things, like "o" or "." and that's it? I don't get it. I f you have nothing to say -- just say nothing.

Potted plants on a stand. I used to hang 'em in macrame hangers, though. You're really old if you remember making macrame plant hangers. :hippie: Fedorov or fedora? :hat: << Kid Rock Smiley. LOL~

I had tears in my eyes, and dripping off my face all over my keyboard at work. I am just devastated by this, it's so unfair. RIP, guys. The person below me wished this horrible summer was over.

Could you share the wine, please? My city smells like a giant ashtray right now. *cough*

I have to stop looking at this, I have to work, and I am bawling my eyes out here. Rest in peace, gentlemen. This was not the fate you deserved. Bless them all, and their families...

I am in tears, here... no one in my office would understand why... what a terrible tragedy. Is there no end to the grief and sadness this summer? RIP, Rusty and Pavol and Brad... I am so sad.
-
I suppose so. I hadn't seen Sesame Street in about 20 years until it became so popular on this site. The person below me has a Plan B.

Are those muppets? Zoot, I think? CD-ROM or thumb drive?

I think these football-on-the-brain people around here are not educable when it comes to puck. Texas wildfires smell like a good mesquite barbeque fire, since that is what is burning -- scrub cedar, juniper and mesquite trees are common here, along with live oak (best firewood there is). Normally, that would mean smoked brisket, which is a good thing.

I agree, for what it's worth. RIP, Wade.

Hockey is so much better than football. I watch football with friends, to be polite. I wish they would extend me the same courtesy sometime.

no, no free zucchini or tomatoes or anything else. Everyone's garden died thanks to the furnace-like heat here, pretty much. The person below me wishes it would snow. Right now.

ethics. I have them. Hence, I am poor. hunt or gather?

Does this weight class make him a jumbo Jet?

As Brett Hull used to say, "I am in shape. Round is a shape."

This is heart-breaking. Poor man, what could have been that bad? I am so sorry he didn't see a way around whatever demons drove him. I wonder if the entire "enforcer" role is such a stellar idea, after what's happened this summer?
