I went to a Fan Fest in San Jose 10 years ago with a friend. Obviously not a Shark fan here, but she wanted to go so badly. It was $50 and the money all went to charity. I met, got pictures and autographs, and visited with Teemu Selanne (one of my all-time favorite players), Brad Stuart, Marco Sturm, Nabby, and a whole bunch of other players. It was a total blast, and it wasn't even my team - but I love hockey in general, so it was OK. I can only imagine how much fun it would be to go to Fan Fest when it's the Red Wings. Go, if you can. You won't regret it, I am sure. I beat Nabby at bubble-hockey. He was not pleased.
