Wow, that's a bad deal. Sorry, Nashville. Well.. not really sorry.

I was across the street at the Art Museum, going through the King Tut exhibit... but we saw the event was still going on at the Excel Center (Wild's arena). So we barged in. They wouldn't let us into the main area, but we peeked in. And I got a handful of foam hockey pucks with NHL Draft logos on them. They'll be handy for throwing at the TV when the Wings are being bad. I ate lunch in a nearby bar and grill, and there was a bunch of Red Wing staff in there, too...scouts or something like that, perhaps. No one I recognized. I didn't see Kenny, he was probably already gone. One of the men in a nice suit looked so much like Mr. Ilitch, I have to think it was one of his sons.

If it makes me old to wonder why young men want to look like thugs and jailbirds with their pants falling off, then.. OK. You do know the "look" comes from inmates who have their belts taken away when they're arrested, thus the pants falling down? Lovely fashion icons. I went to the NHL draft last Friday in Minneapolis. It was just closing down, but I saw a bit of it from the mezzanine at the Excel Center... the guard let me peek in.

I am not much of a fighter, I guess, so not really. Don't fret, it will get better... and that other person WILL be sorry!! The person below me is inordinately attached to one or more on their possessions.

I tend to plan out my meals, when I can. tough it out when you're cold, or pile on a hoodie?
-
well, I certainly have been told by disrespectful fans of other teams that the Wings' red uniform looks like a Santa suit, sooo...
-
yes, I am worried about them. The person below me likes reality shows.

I keep reading the title of the thread about the ****-couver riots as "Mormons at large" Where are we? Salt Lake City?

They played for him, I believe. Just a little more motivation on top of a ton of will and determination. Sweet to see.

I am thrilled for Chara. Ottawa is a vague memory, he has a Cup now. Awesome. Recchi, love the guy. So happy for them.

so beautiful... I have tears in my eyes. Hooray for Boston!!! and the crowd boo's Bettman until he is drowned out.
-
Thomas with the Conn Smythe... as it should be. Anything else would be wrong. Crowd booing Bettman at the top of their lungs... LOL~
-
at least they're being good sports and shaking hands.
-
Kesler in tears. I didn't want Vancouver to win, but I still feel sorry of the Canucks' fans.
-
I do hope Canucks fans are gracious about this. Boston will turn out the town for their return, I bet. Tim Thomas for Conn Smythe, Vezina and Mayor of Boston.
-
that does it for me. Lose, Vancouver...cheap shotters.
-
time to yank Luongo? That would be interesting.

Proof positive, as if we need more proof, that Cherry is a clown.

Mohr is morphing into a root vegetable, like the Sedin twins.

Go Brooooons!!!

Booga, Luuuu....

The Canuck fans were just razzing the Vezina winner, and hopefully Conn Smythe winner? And I don't mean 7uongo.

I will PM you with my favorite pesto recipe, of course! And yes, I cook everything from scratch -- processed food is bad, bad, bad for you and expensive to boot. Haven't darkened the door of fast food places in a few decades. The person below me likes the show, "Deadliest Catch."

Yo, mama. Yo. Yoyo Ma or James Galway?
