no need to jump on Howard for that -- three Wings standing around isn't much help. Of course, it's Howard, so there is NO excuse for him, like the team not doing their jobs. Right?
-
4 shots/stops but who's counting? Who else likes to say "Olli Jokinin" ten times, fast? TO vs Thrashers, 8-1 end of second. Mason with 3 goals on 4 shots. He'd be a dead man around here.
-
good stops, Jimmy!
-
Jill (my best friend in Houston). Love my "cyber" SWF Jack, too, though. tissues with lotion added or plain ol' tissues?
-
I am in an OK mood, not great. But I am glad it's Friday. Stressful first week back after the holidays. The person below me has allergies.
-
Really? That's too bad. I like Olli. That picture is hilarious, BTW.
-
thanks for the great GDT, HT. We sure have a lot of injuries, here's to no more of that, please, guys? Good luck, Jimmy, hang in there. The Wings will show up for you tonight, I just know it! Eaves and Tatar in, hooray! Go, Wings!!!

jeez, Edi... I did workout with trainer today... it was warm enough to go outside and run sprints and hills, then inside to do upper body work and glut/abs. I looked like someone had turned a hose on me when I was done.

Ice cream above all else. Makes me feel guilty, so I usually get frozen yogurt or something a bit less caloric. tiny piece of something incredibly sinful and good, or a bigger portion of something you don't love as much?
-
No need to feel bad or guilty when your loved one does something nice for you. Especially when your instinct is to pay it forward and do something good for others. I wonder why some people have allergies and others don't, and why some things make you sneeze and itch, but others don't.

Not even close, aside from PacMan, back in the Jurassic period or thereabouts, and a couple of online games like free ones on yahoo, I've never played a video game at all. The person below me loves it when new people show up here. *waves at Selliria*

I have never been one of that group of people who lose weight when I am sick. I usually gain, if anything, but I am rarely ill so perhaps I am just not doing it right. Maybe it's genetic. My mother died of catastrophic cancer (pancreatic) and her biggest complaint - aside from losing her hair to chemo - was that she was still pudgy when she died. She used to say, "I am gonna die, you'd think that at least I would be thin once in my life." Nope. Sorry, Mom. It's been 30 years since she passed away, so I can laugh about it now. Starting is a good place to start, Dawn. I think it's good to be accountable at some level. If you join a class, you're not obligated to go -- but, there will be others there who look forward to seeing you and miss you when you do not attend. It's motivating, and something to look forward to, seeing your new friends. Sometimes when I leave my office after battling all day with work, I drive to the gym and think "if my trainer's car isn't there, I am going to just keep going and not work out." He's usually always there. Dammit! LOL~ Knowing that he would wonder where I am on days when I don't work out (rarely) - and worry about where I am, it's a motivation to show up. Once I am there, might as well work out, right?

Considering each of the four ellipticals in my gym will give you totally different calorie counts on an identical workout, I don't really pay too much attention to the exact count. Same with the two "good" Polaris incline treadmills. They aren't calibrated the same, or something. Anyway, time on the machine is a better indicator, to me. JMO. Not that anything is working all that well for me at the moment. Working as hard as I can, but nothing's changing. Oh, well.

awww. Ozzie's dad is cute! How nice he got to play this game so his dad could be there, and WIN besides. Awesome!
-
I love that attitude. And Ozzie's out there going, "Hell, no... you get nothin' else here, either."
-
OMG, Ham-hands Helmer with the icing on the proverbial cake?? 5-3 Thank you, Wings for the mockery makings re: Bulin. I knew you could do it.
-
OK, then.
-
we shall see how they fare vs. the Canucks. If they play down to Vancouver, it will be very ugly indeed.
-
Don't let 'em score, Wings. Who wants to call the GWG scorer for the Wings? I am not good at this stuff.
-
they should have made a mockery of Bulin, but did not. Now it's down to who makes the next mistake out there. Oy...
-
well... that's nice. 3-3 We must let in at least 3 goals per game, it appears.
-
Wings would be very smart to go score another goal right now. I don't want OT.
-
oops. One goal lead. 3-2 Wings.
-
Oils PP not very scary, thank goodness. Wings need to pick it up a bit, just in case Oils decide to show up the last ten minutes of the 4rd.
-
Please kill this. thanks!
