Yay, Edi! I refuse to weigh myself again until the end of this week. I threw out all the bad stuff at home - sugar, sweets, carbo-laden goodies. I have my tiny salad with me at work. Never stopped going to the gym, however I can handily sabotage myself with carbs and sweets. No more! Keep up the good work, everyone!

Probably not until the weekend. I made my grocery run for lunches, etc. for the week already. The person below me has to get up early for work tomorrow (for the first time in a while - ahh, vacation was lovely).

I agree with 007's post, I am not crazy ahout the message Babs is sending to Howard under the circumstances. But perhaps I underestimate Jimmy's maturity and ability to roll with this sort of thing. Boucher has total confidence now that the Wings are going to show low percentage shots tonight. He doesn't have to do a whole lot to read them.

Wait... I thought the substitution was to shake up the Wings, and not to show favoritism toward Howard, or against Ozzie, or vice versa. I am confused. Hope Stuart is OK. All we need is to lose another of our players.

Of course, you're right. However, there are those who will assume that the Wings came back because of Ozzie -- and that Howard's the reason the team sucked pucks for the first 40 minutes.

Honorary membership on LGW for Ken and Mick, for bashing Howard's play. How about the rest of them passin' fools out there, who cannot finish and score? Fatso will get into the "All Star Shame" if the NHL wants him there, won't matter if he's the bottom of the heap. There haven't been actual NHL stars at that game for the past decade or so. Not worth watching, IMO.

Agreed, Howard has actually made some great stops. Boucher hasn't really had to do very much. His team can find the twine, Howard's cannot.
