A friend of mine sent me a DVD of the game seven between Hawks and Pittsburgh, 1992. It was Dom's maiden voyage in goal for an NHL playoff, in relief of Belfour who was sieve-like. Anyway, Cheli was Captain of the Hawks at the time, and was simply amazing. You could sure see how he ended up a Norris winner more than one time. Fun to watch old time hockey, hardly a whistle to be heard. Fatso having one of "those" nights again?

why would that be, I wonder. It's Chelios Night at the Hawks arena. and we have 9 people in the GDT. T'is the season, I guess.

My trainer did a really good job, thinking up things I am able to do with my busted-up elbow, until it heals. We're doing lots of balance work, and legs, quads, glutes, abs. Upper body work is done with resistance bands rather than free weights. I can't pick up more than 10 pounds with my right hand right now, and have little grip strength. But, it's already a lot better one week in. So maybe I won't be out of commission on my weight training for too long.

not even close in my book: Perry the Fairy is a total ass. Avery at least had his moments (numerous) when he made me laugh. He still does, occasionally -- like waving hello to Fatso. trip and fall up the stairs or down the stairs?
