Oh, I agree. Ozzie could at least score a goal. He would need to tonight. Jimmy's got nothing in the tank tonight. Watching the team shoot puck after puck with no result must be pretty deflating.

perhaps this factors into Jimmy's lack of focus tonight -- hard to win when you have no support on the scoreboard.

I bet Ozzie's glad he's not out there. He wouldn't have fared any better, necessarily. I am disappointed in the team's failure to get even one goal. You can't win if you do not score. Losing 1-0, or 5-0 or 10-0... same difference, it's still a loss.

Jimmy has no chance now. That was a deflection. Sometimes games go this way -- especially when your skaters cannot find the back of the opponents' net. I can't wait to hear what they think their problem is, getting shut out when they are blistering Quick with shots...

I believe he saw it, and had some things to say about it, on and off the ice. The guys say they don't read the press -- but I think they do. They just don't want to add any credibility to some of the comments bu acknowledging them. Good for Ozzie that he's decided to pull up his hockey socks and show everyone what he's really made of. He knows he hasn't been stellar, but he's a professional. Nice guy that he is, he's got a lot of pride, too. If it took pissing him off to get a game-winning performance, I am all for it. He was great in last night's game.
