I shot all those pics with a little point and shoot Sony Cybershot camera (Zeiss lens on it, but still...) If I ever get another vacation, part of the saving up for it will be for a digital SLR camera. But thank you for the compliments. I kept saying, "I don't think any picture could do this justice" when looking into the Canyon. Glad the grandeur translated a little, anyway.

yay! I am not able to leave early, officially, but I might anyway. Right now, it's 9:30AM and I am the only one who has showed up for work, aside from one poor admin lady who has no more time off remaining. Who knows where everyone else is, but I guess they're getting a head start on the weekend? The person below me has an above average work ethic (unlike my co-workers)

I will never forget the look on his face and the emotion he displayed, when he talked in a video I saw, about how grateful he was to the Red Wings organization in 2005 for giving him a chance to play hockey in Detroit. It stuck with me, how devoted he was to this team - he owes them and they will get his best, always. He's a heart and soul player and when healthy, as dependable as they come. I'm a big fan of Dan the Man.

I've never taken Nick for granted... I dread the day he steps down, too. In the meanwhile, how lucky we've been to have him as a Red Wing. Personally, I think he's more special than Gretzky ever dreamed of being, and so was Stevie Y. I might be a bit biased, though.
