I am old fashioned and think getting (and sending) a card in the mail is best. They are expensive, however, now. E-greetings are not my thing. I know they're quick and easy and free, usually. But they require no thought or effort, so I don't value them very much, I'm afraid. trampoline or swing-set?

yes, but not boo-hoo awful cry. I ran across a picture on facebook of a gentleman who died two years ago, today. He's my friend's husband's father... but I knew him quite well, and everyone loved him. Rest in peace, BooBoo - his grandchildren's name for him. I didn't know his real name for years. The person below me has cold feet.

not really, but since i have a hard time going to sleep, and 12:30AM or 1:00AM is my usual fall-asleep time, 4:30AM would be a bit extreme for me. 6:00AM is bad enough. The person below me is on the "We miss Lilja" wagon. Me.

I'd do it again, for sure. I rode on one once, but it was at a figure skating rink, not hockey. I love that they let little kids (and big kids) ride at games. The person below me is planning a little vacation soon.

I thought Ozzie played well the other night, despite the brain farts in front of him. The goalies surely expect this, when they have babies out there. No big deal to Ozzie, I am sure, or Babs, if they louse up. I have liked what I've seen of the kids so far. That's the whole point of pre-season, to me.

that's a shame, really. Cheechoo was the real deal, I saw him play as a rookie in San Jose. He was amazing. What happened, Cheech? Best of luck to him.

well, you got me, and you know better, since you know me. I was doing laundry by 8AM, in the yard by 9AM and finished at 3PM. Then went to Lowes, came back and finished wiring the bathroom lights. I've done the ironing and packed my lunch for tomorrow, and put my gym bag in the car. I was going to wash the car, but ran out of daylight. So, no. No lazy anything here. The person below me wishes they had an excuse to call in "sick" tomorrow.
