the entire concept of ever having or needing $43M to "survive" on in retirement is so hilarious to me, that it doesn't even compute. I am sure he will survive this. Sergei could do what the rest of us do: scale back, do without, and start over.

Usually. But it's summer. The damned soccer moms in mini-vans are off the road, since the kiddies don't have to be ferried to and fro to school. That helps. Plus, it seems that very few people -- aside from myself -- actually go to work on Fridays in this town. Must be nice, but again, it clears up the traffic on one day per week. The person below me has too much to do.

No, but mine ISO (insignificant other) cheated on me. Does that count? The person below me has been dealing with an issue which puts them into an automated phone system. Said system is ridiculous and doesn't work -- so there is no resolution to the problem. What ever happened to humans dealing with one's problems, face to face??
