Well, everybody around here thinks they are my boss... however the actual one never comes to the office on Friday. Or Thursday. Or Wednesday. Those two-day work weeks are brutal, I guess. He is OOP (out of pocket - his term for being gone, and no one is supposed to ask where or any details), and WAH (working at home) most of the time. OOP/WAH. WAH/OOP?? oy. The person below me does more than one person's job role (FTE) every day.

yes, successfully, thank you! Igor Larionov and I had a very nice chat one time in San Jose. He's charming. The person below me is ready for the weekend!
-
depends on my mood. Today, This or That take pills for anxiety or suck it up and deal with it?
-
silly. Putty sounds like work. SpinArt or Spirograph*? *go google it if you don't know what that is.

I am not sure that anyone can imagine punishment severe enough. Money is not an issue for them. God knows they have plenty. Tony Hayward the pompous CEO of BP opines, "I just want my life back," hoping for a quick end to this disaster, so he can get back to his cushy, overpaid lifestyle in England. Yeah? The birds and wildlife and the people whose livelihoods you have destroyed, perhaps for generations, would like THEIR lives back, too. Literally. A lot them are dead. Ass. The person below me hopes everyone who caused this burns in eternal oil-fueled fires in Hades. Sorry. I don't recall the last time I was this angry over tragedy caused by greed and avarice. Despicable. Just despicable. Hurricanes and floods are terrible, but this was 100% preventable.

45, not that it seems to matter. He just won league MVP, best goalie, and lead his home-town team to the national championship in Czech, setting records for wins and shutouts in the playoffs. I hope he plays forever or until he decides it's not fun and a challenge anymore. Rock on, my goalie!!!

I have one, but never put it on... I can't swim, and the sun is bad for me. The person below me also cries when they see this: I am heartbroken by this whole catastrophe. Poor little Nigels.

Gram-positive. I loved my Grandmas. geek or nerd?
-
no, but I should. It's pretty boring... The person below me is ready for lunch!
-
Hi, girls!! Let's all post at the same time and make the interwebs explode!! Strawberry soda sounds... sweet. I don't think I would like it. The person below me watched the game last night (stoopid Hawks)

I hope you don't! And I hope we don't, either. It's going to be 100 degrees here today, and going forward. AC is critical (i.e., basic life-support) The person below me starts their day with a little trip to the water cooler.
-
at least on time, and sometimes early. The person below me doesn't have a car payment right now.
-
in person, if possible... phones kinda suck sometimes. pepperoni or Italian sausage on your pizza pie?
-
I didn't, actually... once I was done at the gym, I came home and made chicken salad and then just vegged out -- watched America's Got Talent... which they pretty much didn't, BTW. The person below me has a high tolerance for pain.

Bend 'em, baybee. I love flexibility (see avatar) Dawn or Dusk (not counting Dawn, WizofOz30 - who is my very favorite Dawn).
-
I love them both... but a peach right off the tree is incomparable. *drool* trust your instincts or second-guess yourself?
-
1. Pay off all my bills and my house 2. Buy a new car 3. Put my friends' kids through college (and my friends, if they want to go back) 4. Put the rest in interest-bearing accounts and investments and give away the proceeds annually to a rotating list of charities. The person below me really thinks they might win some day.

playing tag with an axe... I don't know the difference, so whichever smells better, I reckon. handful of M&Ms or cookie?

Aside from just surviving, I have no plans at all. The person below me needs a hug right now.
