My insides say Nick will re-sign with the Wings. And I think Ozzie will go to TB with Stevie. It's just a hunch... but it could happen. The person below me still mails actual thank you cards to people, like in an envelope with handwritten thanks. i.e., not an email.

no, I can't say that I have even dreamed of it. I would like to go there someday, though, just for a visit. Guess I am too practical. The person below me wishes it was Friday tomorrow.

I used to do that a lot - take whatever fit in my VW bug and bug out for new scenery. That's how I got to Texas. Not sure I want to do it again, but I would if I had to, I guess. The person below me worries about the future (and next week).

Good luck, Stevie. It's truly the end of an era. I am very sad... but I guess the beach and sunshine is calling him, along with a mediocre hockey team -- what could be better? Besides retiring as GM of the best team ever, the Detroit Red Wings, I mean.

Several... I bought some orphans this weekend in Houston, and they need to be moved into their new homes, ASAP. The plant nursery was closing where I bought them -- they are neglected and abused (not watered, root bound), but I will save them. The person below me is very sad to see the pelicans dying in the Gulf because of stupid BP.

always. I live where it's very hot, so I don't wear much in the way of footwear -- lotsa flip flops and sandals. and purple toes for the Wings (Al the Octo shade) The person below me wear something related to the Wings every day.

I'm not arguing, and don't care if you think my "arguments" aren't up to snuff. Just stating an opinion. I won't watch the Sidney Slappie Show (again) on Jan 1. Big deal if I don't, I say. I won't watch Pronger gallumph around the ice with the Cup, either, if Phillie manages to win it. Just stating my opinion. Shoot me, I guess.

I would watch the Wings and Chicago. I like RedFlag85's idea: have an evening game with Original Six teams - Boston/Montreal? Fun! They hate each other. I guess I am more about quality hockey than marketing the NHL. Just me, perhaps.
