Jimmy reminds me of the true freshman q-back who got thrown into the BCS championship last night, after the #1 (McCoy) went out injured in the first rush of the game. Jimmy's been fabulous for his age and experience. He's outplayed Osgood. If we make the playoffs, then Babcock can make some tough decisions. In the meanwhile, play the goalie who is giving the team the best chance.

I know a lot of you guys like Roenick. I never have, so I think anything he has to say is pretty much nonsense. But the media continue to give him space, and people will read anything. So there ya go. A LOT of fans want desperately for the Wings to fail. He's just taking advantage of that to get his name mentioned. It's certainly not embossed on the Cup, so this will have to do, eh?

I think most other teams come into a game with the Wings right now with every expectation of winning, due to all the injuries. All 29 other teams love this, and wish the rest of our guys were in the infirmary, as well. Babcock is doing a great job with the hand he's been dealt this season, IMO. It's hard to coach any better than he has, with the quasi-team he ices on a given night. Hopefully, enough Wings will return, playing at something closer to form in time to make the playoffs and to make a good showing in the post-season.

yep, it helps when you finish and score. Sturm has been one of my favorite players since San Jose days. Thrilled for him and his team (almost the polar opposite of how much I hate Pronger and love to see him lose).
