completely agree with this. Bert is stepping up when he's needed, and I suspect has no illusions of carrying this team. We have superstars to do that -- and they need to get busy. Bert's play of late takes the heat off them so perhaps they will see the light and their own scoring touches will return. That would be nice. Rock on, Bert!

Bert is doing all one can expect and then some from a player with his faded skills... he is stepping up big when he is most needed. I have nothing but praise for his efforts, and I know his team mates are thrilled for him and grateful. He was quoted in DetNews this morning, saying his hands had been gone for about eight years, but decided to show up. Thank God! Humble in the face of his recent heroics, that one. Good for Bert. I am hoping his actions will make it easier for the guys who are goal-shy to step up, too. Pasha and Z: "If Bert can do this, I should be able to, as well..."

backhanded "compliment"... Wings need to try and stay out of the box, although the last two 'penalties' I didn't even see. This is other thing I don't like about Nashville. Their camera guys are usually focused on a Pred of one description or another, and miss the plays on the ice.
