this is far from an original thought, but I think Laraque should sit out as long as Kronner is out. An eye for an eye -- or knee, in this case. Seriously, they lose Laraque for as long as we lose Kronwall. I am glad he got five, it's better than nothing, I guess.

It's good to know one isn't alone in the athletic basement (I had a similar experience to yours in school). I recommend a personal trainer. No matter how graceless and slow I am, he says I am great. I pay him. Mmmm~~ tuna sammich is so good, with some perky mayonaisse and a bit of pickle. Lovely. The person below me is going to a gathering of some sort tonight.

this is the truth -- Feds was the greatest under-achiever ever to play in the NHL. I loved to watch him, he literally could dance a puck down the ice like no one else. He was beautiful when he chose to play his best. As for Scotty Bowman, he could squeeze the very best out of any player, and while they didn't love him for it, I think all came to the same conclusion -- best coach ever to grace the NHL. I am still sad that Feds left, but I think I am sadder about Shanny.

My day just got a little sadder with the thought that Shanny won't be on the ice anymore. One of my perennial favorites, he will be missed. Love ya, Shanny, you're the man!
