Sharpies. Hockey players sign things with them. Sharpeis... not so much. Plus I am allergic to them. I am not allergic to hockey players, thank goodness. french fries from Mickey D's or tater waffles from Chick-fil-a

no part of me is Swedish at all, unless you count the part of my heart which belongs to any Swedish Red Wing who passes before me. The person below me has been to DisneyWorld.
-
that's a toughie. j;sdfj;ldj;sdfjk, I think. I am a fan of semi-colons, and punctuation, in general. real eggs or egg-beaters?
-
I am basically an insomniac, so I sleep walk most of the time, sort of. I haven't ever gotten up and done stuff, like actually walking in my sleep, that I know of. The person below me likes to cook.
-
Neither, not a CNN fan at all. Country music or pop music?
-
Neither. Brown rice for me. Yum. Me, too, Hockeytown. And... what is this rain you speak of? real, actual greeting card with a stamp, or an e-greeting?
-
actually, no. Dinner was crackers and cheese tonight, because I got home too late to make something decent. The person below me lives alone and likes it.
-
aww, thanks!! Why are you dreading going home? Hope things are OK. I am not dreading going home, I can't wait. First I have to go to the gym and work out with my trainer. I am dreading the leg press... my thighs feel like they've been shredded. But they look good. The person below me is going to have something really yummy for dinner tonight!
-
I don't like them, but toasted sounds better! Cool Whip or real whipped cream?

Same here. I wish we still had lakes here. Two and a half years of sustained drought and 100+ degree temps for months on end has led to the closing of our big recreational lake, due to ... well, no water? It's more than 30 feet lower than it should be, i.e. a big puddle now. The person below me wants/needs to win the lottery.

This. I thought the Wings lacked any sort of inspiration last season, not that they didn't try hard. Just... some spark was missing. Hossa didn't bring it, in so many ways, sadly. I still love the guy, but he didn't get the job done when it mattered. With that, and all the injuries, I am pretty proud they got to game seven at all. No, to Dally returning, however. Only get to play that card one time, I think. Welcome to the forum, OP!

Neither, really, but orange if I have to choose. paper plates or real ones?
-
Have you met my boss? Apparently, you have. Yes, it's incredibly annoying when you have to deal with people who have no concept of the big picture or how details figure into the outcome. The person below me wishes they could go on a real vacation sometime. If you've been somewhere fabulous lately, good for you. Some of us are just wishing....

I just assumed this thread was a joke.

we're about to fall off the page, so bumpity bump!! RWL, how's it going? here comes another weekend... woo!! I am ready. I just publicly announced that I plan to lose my remaining 10 pounds, or many 15. That will be just plain skinny for me, but a lot of the weight I have remaining is now muscle, so I take that into account. I benched 80 pounds the other day. For me, that's Herculean. Yay me! I have also developed an aversion to the stairmaster, not that I ever liked it, particularly. I pushed way too hard a couple of times, and it literally made me sick. Now, I don't want to do it anymore. Ugh.

Moderate would be nice. I've been running four lines of business for 10 years alone, so moderate doesn't usually enter into the conversation. Frantic, ugly, demanding... those do. I would love to meet a reasonable client or colleague again some day. real house plants or really good fakes?
-
that's sort of what I meant, too. I barely have time to do work, take care of house, and get other stuff done, so when the questions veer into geek talk and high end electronics and other things foreign to me, for whatever reason, I just leave the thread until someone who has the energy to be conversant (or even aware) of such things, answers. The person below me is sometimes stymied for interesting questions, as well as answers. How's that for a cop-out?
-
um... nope! The person below me sometimes answers just to bump this thread.
-
I don't prefer either, but I have a needy friend whom I am very attached to. She's also pretty dramatic, but I am willing to overlook that. Pure drama queens who think everything is about them... no thanks. spring roll or egg roll?
-
both, but flower beds are easier to keep alive in a drought with extreme heat like we have had here the past two summers. I didn't replant most of my potted plants outside. Can't keep them watered when it's 100+ degrees every day for months on end. sedan or coupe?

I love having a job. I do not love the job... or should I say, it does not love me. I work in a difficult industry (telecomm) with difficult people, managing technical issues which few now understand because the core intelligence of most major carriers has been gutted by layoffs -- so the profits can go to CEOs and shareholders. I go to virtual "war" every single day to get anything accomplished. If you have the opposite situation and things are wonderful where you are, I applaud you. Be grateful. Very sorry to those here who do not have employment right now. That is worse than being where I am, for sure. The person below me misses hockey.
-
How fun!! You all look like you had a blast!!
-
um... I am sorry you drew me, Jack, 'cause I have no idea what that means. Someone else, please take a shot. curling iron or electric hair rollers?
-
OK by me. Pasha could use another Russian to pal around with. The beginning of... the Russian Two?
