agreed, and they need to shoot to kill. I counted at least four misses tonight, and Pasha and Z among them. One shot on goal each, one miss each. Homer and Mule, no SOG. I expect better in the next period (or two). I certainly hope they don't hand Hiller a SHUT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! shut out shut out shut out....

VS interviewing Hossa. Why is Hossa out of breath? I haven't seen him do anything yet. Pointless in the playoffs... what are you saving it for, Marian? I love Hoss, by the way. But, come on. Now would be the time to show up -- along with Pasha, Z, Homer? Hello???

Ozzie did good. Rest of the Wings, not so much. Oh, well. Forty more minutes to go. Perhaps the Wings should have practiced today, instead of playing soccer on the beach?

it's the only thing about this game thus far worth replaying, I think. If the Wings can get out of this one without too much embarassment, and win the next one, I will settle for that. They don't have much chemistry or anything else tonight. And they're still better than the Yucks, despite that fact.

I am miserable at work lately anyway, at least I might have reason to be OK with that tomorrow. Wings need to get this scrambling, choppy play out of the way and settle down. They don't even look like themselves so far. They'll do it, no worries.

I hate when the entire Ducks lineup piles on top of Ozzie... after he has the puck stopped. This is how they "win" as you recall. Shove the goalie into the net with the frozen puck, and the officials will call it a goal.

we Versus viewers are probably going to miss the first part of the Wings game. Canucks and Hawks have delay of game penalties every two minutes, so the game still has 8 minutes to go. They should be able to drag that out at least another 20 minutes the way they're going.

I don't think they care for my roof much, but they love my trees, and love to dig up my rose beds. It looks like a mine field out there some days. TPBM orders magazines through the mail
