Conky reminds me of the man to the left with the shiny Cup, with some of these saves tonight. I think I am in love (again).

Not often, but I do steal from the boyz sometimes. Mostly gym clothes, like t-shirts. I guess they're not really strictly meant for men, though. My hockey jerseys are mens, because I like the way they look. The girlie-cut ones just don't look right, and especially the jerseys made in pink for an NHL team are slightly nauseating to me. Purist, I guess. TPBM is watching a movie right now.

That would be a treat, wouldn't it? Me on skates. I don't fantasize about playing for them. TPBM is getting rained on today.

The above posts make me happy that I don't live anywhere near, nor do I have any reason ever to go to, Pittsburgh. There is something quite wrong about all of that hatred for a guy who apparently never wanted to be there in the first place. Hossa's ours, deal with it.

So sorry for the loss of your brother, Vladifan. I am sure the Wings would be very pleased to know that they helped you cope, in some small way. They do have big hearts and they DO represent the best of the best in hockey and all professional sports, IMO. Believe it or not, I've gotten through some rough patches myself, with hockey players I loved coming up big for me, seemingly like they "knew" I needed it. It's not misguided to look for positives and feel good about seeing the guys you admire do well for you. All the best to you and your family, and much sympathy for your loss.

just got out... had to wash away the Sindy slobber from the NBC broadcast today. TPBM also thinks Pavel Freakin' Datsyuk is about the most beautiful thing they've ever seen on the ice. My Lord, he's amazing.

The Wings actually tried to win, but didn't make it look difficult really, blocking shots, picking their moments, calm and collected. I really, really liked what I saw today. I am officially on the Ty Conklin bandwagon. He was just stellar today. Six shutouts -- all of Detroit's shutouts as a matter of fact -- are pretty good evidence, even if the D did help today, a lot. He did have something to prove, if you will, but I just love his confidence out there.

I hope Fleury kicks a goal in and Hossa gets the credit for it. Boo'ers have departed.
