I was already a Lilja fan... even mostso by the minute. Dan Cleary almost killed on a play... and the announcers wax poetic about Crosby blowing snot from his nose. Gotta love this!!

there could be a reason for that. Conklin is all over the place and has been right in position. He's stopped some high-quality chances. Knowing that's in goal behind you makes the team play better, or looser, as some would put it. Of course, Conklin might let down toward the end of the game and that situation could reverse. Stick squeezing shall ensue. Neither of our goalies are consistent enough to trust this season, IMO.

I see we are all similarly shocked and incensed by the idea that any Wing would touch whiny butt Crosby. The offending Red Wing would summarily be black-balled from the NHL, so why would they do that?

Lilja's been awesome this game so far. Conks is playing well, also. He's a very active goalie, I like that!! I have seen more blocked shots this game than I have this entire season, total, I swear.
