I love your stats posts, cusi-brothers. Good job!! Anyone else worried that no Homer means trouble today? Wonder if Danny will be willing to be molested again, in his place?
-
I read somewhere last night he was having trouble with a hip pointer, but maybe. Sid is pure entertainment: "We had a huge win there, a character win," Crosby said. "There was a lot of emotion in that game, given what happened last year. I don't think that's disappeared. It's probably going to be the same way [today]. That's just how our rivalry works and what's developed." We... have a rivalry? Ooooh-kay.... really? Your last tilt with the Wings (Nov. 11 6-7 loss) was not a character win, Snidley. A defensive melt-down by the Wings, perhaps. I won't say that isn't going to happen again, mind you, but it had nothing to do with you, Sid, believe it or not.

Wings-Oils write up see last sentence: Babcock said he hadn't made up his mind whether to start Conklin or Chris Osgood in Pittsburgh.
-
Ready! Go, Wings!!! I expect a full 60 minutes from you, boyz. Let's make Sid disappear, invisible to the nekkid eye. Wings win, 4-1
-
you could be right... but he sure didn't sound happy to be there in 2005 manny in russia... not with love He looks thrilled.
-
that brings up some interesting mental images... oh, you mean during a hockey game?
-
yes, 13 minutes ahead. But only my alarm clocks. I have to set two, so I will be sure and get up. The 13 is for Pasha, and it's my lucky number, too. TPBM knows how to make Baba ghanoush. Even if you don't like it, it's fun to say.
-
Go, Wings! Play like you want it! Wings win it, 3-1.
-
No one has perkier boobs than Karen. I sure don't. I have an electric toothbrush and wouldn't trade it for anything, by the way. TPBM has gone swimming with dolphins. Sea mammals, not Miami football players.
-
Sometimes yes, including this one. I am so boring that I am upset about missing a funeral in Dallas this weekend (car trouble, so I had to cancel). TPBM is more interesting than I am.
-
Amen to that. Who'd want the job?? Besides half the goalies in the league, I mean.
-
I've got 78 cents in loose change and some stale chewing gum in my purse. Shall I make an offer?
-
Isn't that the truth? His happiest days were when he was backing up a #1 goalie and could shine, without taking the heat that goes along with being the main man. I love the guy, and am sorry he's had a tough time. Wish you the best, Manny, where ever you end up.

Legace's on waivers. Just sayin'...

We can discuss it to death, defend and deny the facts, depending on your bias. Ozzie isn't playing well enough to get the Wings out of round one this season. The person who needs to 'know' this - and needs to do something about it - is Ozzie. I am fairly certain he will try his best to play better the rest of the season. He's a professional. If he's lost it, and can't help the team, he will be the one to say so. JMO.

only a few million times, but I was about 8 or 10 at the time. TPBM has big secret plans for a fun time this weekend.
-
If the NHL changes the rules and institutes shoot outs in Stanley Cup games, we're all set, then.
-
I don't disagree with any of the above. Perhaps he's a little too laid back for his own (and the Red Wings') good? Babcock called him out after last night, not throwing Ozzie under the bus but certainly pointing at him as the problem. I am hoping Ozzie takes it for what it is: a public announcement that the #1 goalie in Detroit has to be better than he's been, and soon. A little self-directed anger in Ozzie's case might be a good thing, for a change. As for Conklin, he's just thrilled to be a Wing, and shows it every time he's out there. He's got 5 shuts outs, which happen to be all of the shut outs the Wings have this season. Before any of you all start in with, "but, they play differently in front of Ozzie..." If they do, you can probably figure out why, if you just think about it. The Wings can't play their game when they are worrying about making up a goal deficit, game in and game out. They can't play loose (as Ozzie suggested, saying some players ought to loosen up), when they have in the back of their heads that every lead they get is likely to be surrendered in the next shift. Ozzie can't rest on last season's laurels. Last season was last season.

me again. Grande non-fat vanilla latte, extra hot 180 degrees, here. My signature vice drink. TPBM has tomorrow off from work. Wish I did.
-
Never. I am perfection on a stick. I am sometimes incoherent, but that just lends to my alluring mystique. TPBM like Starbucks coffee.
-
it's "normal" here. Remember last season? I do.
-
I would be there, for sure, if I wasn't 1200 miles away. Conks is cool.
-
The royal "we". Yes, they are still the champs, with amazing offense. Hossa must stay.
-
yahoo had a live stream, but you didn't miss much this game. I mean, aside from Wayne being unhappy -- but that, you've seen before.
-
maybe. I've seen that dozens of times, and no call was made. I guess the ref just got a good look at Helmer, wrong place, wrong time.
