Dmitry Bykov, and for some reason, I forget that Ray Whitney was ever here.

Osgood has worst save percentage in the league
puckloo39 replied to Dave Anderson's topic in General
I can't believe anyone here expects fairness and a civil conversation about the goalies. It has never happened before, and I doubt it will begin now. They're doing the best they can. So is the team. They all need to do better, if they have any intention of shutting us up. -
Which decade? Early childhood, no. Grade school years? No to that too. Teenage years, yeah. I would hate to be a young kid right now... they know too much on one hand, and so little on the other. There's just too much to know now, and some of it isn't good. Good question! TPBM went to a movie today or did something useful, instead of watching the Super Bowl.
-
I have, and I believe in them. TPBM has visited Austin -- but didn't tell me.
-
Conklin's the back up. There are slightly lower expectations for him, perhaps. People are usually harder on the #1, who is "supposed" to be better and live up to the hype, despite the actual circumstances during a given game. I agree with the rest of your (quoted) post.
-
And he did! First NHL goal. Too bad no one else showed up. Maybe Leino can teach the rest of them where the back of the net is located. TPBM hates beets.
-
I missed the whole game. Yay! Sounds like they missed Hank and Homer today. And it's a shame Leino's first goal was in a loss, but he'll take it, anyway. On to the Blues. Surely we can beat them.

I know it's Arthur. I loved that show. Dead body? No... not me. Uh-uh... *looks around to make sure no one saw me stuff Buttman's corpse in my Honda* TPBM has to work today and is missing the Wings-Caps game.
-
Too bad the game is on Saturday before noon (here). With all the crap I have to do today, no game for me. The game is in Washington, and it's cold and it's at noon. There may be more hockey players in attendance than there are fans. That might be a good thing. Hope the Wings are awake today, and good luck, Conks!!

So true. Where were you last season, Kevvie? I agree on the language police item, too. Not all of our members speak English as a first language. And not all of our members who do are any more comprehensible, sometimes.
-
I would go if I was there. Huddie's going to be a big star one day!
-
Nope, I sometimes veer and mention the person/s above me in my person below me answer, though. I agree with the person above me that I like more than one word answers. But that might be because I am incredibly obsessive and verbose. I assume if I don't complete my thoughts, people won't understand what I meant. They probably don't anyway, since they stop reading. OK. I'll stop now. Really. TPBM likes Kevvie's avatar, and knows the character's name. I do.

I wouldn't get too excited about anything being done about O'Halloran. Given what happened with the All Star Shame, I don't believe the NHL particularly cares about whether or not Detroit is getting screwed over.
-
I forgot to pack my undies once when I went to Minneapolis to visit my friend. He said he couldn't help me in that department -- so, we went to Kohl's for replacements. He suggested Victoria's Secret, of course. I am too cheap and practical for that! TPBM can drive a straight-shift car.
-
ah, well... I don't think it matters all that much tonight what the Wings do or don't do. Next!
-
O'Halloran's evening is complete. He gets to send Homer to the box to end the evening and put the Stars at total advantage.
-
won't matter, there will be some reason why the goals don't count.
-
"Only" three. the fourth was on Conks.
-
at least Kronwall shot the puck on net.
-
nice play, too bad it didn't end in a goal. PP Wings.
-
so the NHL stance that hits to the head will not be tolerated only applies if one is not a Red Wing. Is that right?
-
oh, perfect. We're going to lose Mule over this joke of a game, now? Oy.
-
I would love to know what was said in the locker room between periods. I can't say that I blame the Wings for zero energy... they literally can't win for losing in this game, with a certain ref on the ice. I rarely say officiating decides a hockey game, but this one ... yep.
-
perhaps they think that even if they score, it won't count tonight. I can see why they might think that.
-
Did a Red Wing shoot him? If not, he's got no reason to be this biased.
