True. It would definitely be my number 1 wish, however. People who say money can't buy happiness but it wouldn't hurt my feelings to have a lot more than I do. #2 would be cures for illnesses and afflictions, orphan diseases and such. Money can't buy that, I am afraid, even if wish #1 was limitless. #3 would be finding the love of my life. Hasn't happened. TPBM has more than one pet.

that wasn't a 'winnable' game last night, by the time Pavel went off the ice. Lidstrom isn't going to the All Star Shame, either. I doubt that either of them have anything all that serious wrong. A little va-cay will do all of them good, and perhaps the NHL will take a lesson from this about how the rosters are selected for their showcase weekend.

This is great. Sadly, there are plenty of fans who won't get the message -- the Cup champions have no interest in attending this farce Bettman passes off as an all-star showing of talent. Works for me. Have a nice break, guys!!

I figure Pasha's too much of a gentleman to just come out and say he doesn't want to go. So, yeah, even if it's something he'd normally play through, I would prefer he stay home. It's an "honor" to just be nominated, yadda yadda.

Oh, that is priceless!! The Yotes need this sort of "victory" over the Wings to bolster ticket sales after the AS break. The actual Red Wings were not at this game... not sure who some of those guys were out there.

I *heart* Marvin. He is my favorite WB character, by far.
