Cheli's on with Pang. Cheli's absolutely thrilled, I am so glad he's going to get to play, he deserves it. I hope NBC announcing doesn't stand for "Nothing But Chicago" today, as we have no alternate feed here. -

you're sentimental. I will settle for a win of any shape or form, and NO injuries. I read about the ice being brittle and the glare from the sun being a real problem. Is it cloudy today in Chitown? I hope so, it will make it easier for them to play safe... unless we can arrange to only have the sun glare in the Hawks' eyes, of course. j/k here's to an exciting and memorable game. Go, Wings!!! -

Happy New Year, LGWers!! I am excited about this game, perhaps because of the joy on the faces of the Wings at today's practice session. They looked absolutely thrilled to be there! Here's to a great game with no crappy calls and lots of action. Oh, and a Wings win, of course! -
There shouldn't be any need for the backup to play. Or at least if I am Babs, there would be no substitutions, no matter what the score looks like. This game will be for fun, as well as for two points, but isn't worth risking the health of any player in an effort to win. Conks will be the only Wings goalie on the ice tomorrow, barring injury. That's the right move in so many ways, it's not even up for discussion at this point.

Conklin has the Chitown Kids' numbers. After last night in particular, he is in their heads. Ty deserves to be in net for the outdoor game, and I bet he will be magnificent. I feel bad for Huet (not really!) or Khabi, if he manages to diva his way into the Hawks' net. All the Wings have to do is play close to the level they did last night, and we will have a real show on January 1. Start the year out right.

Maybe this will be what it takes. The whole thing is just ridiculous now. It's fine with me if the Wings all stay home.

Nope, my first car was a piece of crap. But, I wish I had my dad's last car back. 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL convertible - sweet car!! Of course, I would like it back all restored, with oil-slick black paint job and leather seats. I loved that car. TPBM has the rest of the year off from work!

uh uh, real boring on the shampoo thingie here, I've used Biolage for dozens of years, I've lost track now how long exactly. TPBM has more than one sibling.

well, I don't think it's much of a stretch to believe Conklin will be in goal for the Winter classic. And Huet, for the Hawks. What a game!! Conklin #1 star, I'd say.

evidently. I was referring to the fact that the Wings have spent so much time killng penalties, they've only gotten two shots on goal this period. That might severly limit the number of goals if this continues.

Plan is working for the 'Hawks. Khabbi has faced one shot so far, Conks has stopped 13 or 14
