Hossa's been a favorite of mine for years, and I was thrilled to death to see him come to Detroit. I knew he'd fit right in, and contribute -- and then some... we wouldn't be sitting where we are in Wins without him. I don't know how it will happen, but it sure would be wonderful to have him remain a Wing. He's a perfect fit in skills and in demeanor. I cannot even imagine Marian saying or doing anything to embarrass his team, or himself. Wish he would stay, but I am afraid he won't.

Nabby wasn't good, but as for the Wings playing bad... If they had been bad at all, we LGW'ers would have been all over them and picking them apart, right? Conklin was great. There is no such thing as an easy shut out in the NHL, I am convinced.

Right on, Mac. I have a lot of respect for the Sharks' team and organization. They are my #2 team (waaay down the ladder after the Wings), except when they beat the Wings -- or rather when the Wings allow them to win. The Sharks are a team to be reckoned with when they are on their game. I am very happy the Wings know that, as well.

I love Big Mats, I am a big fan of his... but I find that I don't really care anymore about this signing. Good luck to him, however, and I hope he helps the 'Nucks a little. We go Hossa. I am more than content with that.

OMG, Shore... the Tied House is awesome!! That was my little ritual, too. Before the game, we would have to go get the salmon "fish and chips" and beers. That salmon is the best thing ever. Wish I still had the consulting job that took me to SJ a lot. I loved going to games there and always made sure I had a "reason" to be in town when the Wings were there. Great game, I am still smiling this morning. Pasha rules!!

The Sharks are a great team, a great organization. I've had the pleasure of going to quite a few games in San Jose and was always impressed with the fans, who are knowledgable and very devoted to their guys. Ya'll are, may I say, rabid fans? But, in a good way. I for one am looking forward to the next meeting, and I will be it will be a lot closer than this one.
