I was a huge fan long before he came to Detroit, when he was a Senator. The rich got richer in this case, and I hope he stays around for more than just this season.

can't really do that this year. Ozzie .877 sv%, 3.31GAA Conk .897 sv% 3.19GAA Six of one, half dozen of the other. They'll figure it out, or else the team will step up and play better to compensate.

I think the whole NHL is poorer since Dom chose retirement, but I am glad he's gone for a lot of reasons. The Wings will be fine without him. They have no choice. I miss him like crazy, of course. Dom will always be Number 1 with me, to infinity and beyond.

Some players who were voted in last year opted not to go. That says a lot, I think. The whole thing is ridiculous in terms of fan ballot stuffing-voting in Montreal. I wouldn't blame any player who chooses to rest or find another excuse to opt out.

the ASG is a joke as far as I am concerned, but the Eastern conference really is a joke. Price with 139,000 votes (twice the number Luongo has amassed) and the entire starting lineup all Habs. Are the refs voting?

I agree... Feds was the most talented underachiever ever in the NHL. I loved watching him when he was on his game, which was pretty often. Hossa needs to stay in Detroit, please...
