Star Wars? Sounds vaguely Ewok-ish to me. The person below me loves hamsters and can't wait for for the new movie, "Bolt" to come out later this month.
-
I am not so sure the Pens just "won" this one. I know it wouldn't have gone our way, if there was any doubt about the position of that puck. Meh.
-
how old is Doug Weight? Seems like he's been around for decades? No luck on the shoot out. Here comes Sykora and scores on MacDonald...
-
no kidding, right?

NHL Stars: 1. Hossa 2. Parise 3. Osgood
-
the score doesn't reflect it, but I would catagorize this game as a steal for Ozzie. Too bad no SO for Ozzie, and no Hattie for Hoss, but we will take it! NJ played well, I thought. Wings/Ozzie just were better.
-
LOL~ PA guy plays "Livin' on a prayer..." for Weekes on that save on Hoss.
-
Fixed it. That's just the way it is. Might as well get used to it. Hossa is worth the price of Center Ice, just to see moves like his. Amazing player.
-
so close... crowd reeeeally wants this for Hossa.
-
there we go. Malts!! Only 4 more to go.
-
I was just thinking that. Different year, though. Maybe they did learn something from it.
-
Who said that? The Wings can thank Ozzie for preserving the 1 goal lead. Hoss with a hattie, I think, would be very wonderful.
-
highlight reel save by Oz. Make Parise hold his head in dismay!!
-
good job, Ozzie!! Hold 'em off!!
-
obvious statement of the night: Must re-sign Hossa.
-
no shame in that goal... Parise with a great play. No SO, though, dangit.
-
hey, Edi, thanks!! Could Hossa wind up being the "steal" this season? I think so.
-
hi, hi!! loooo here. Sorry I am late. We have a lead, yay!!!

holy ****, I learned something from your post. I am very lucky to still be alive, pure luck. The drunk driver who destroyed the car I was a passenger in Christmas Eve, 2006, clocked in at .31 BAC at the hospital. He was unhurt, by the way, despite hitting us at 80 MPH after blowing a red light, thus literally shredding my friend's Honda Accord -- but not us, fortunately. I was a big admirer of Theo Fluery, the Robert Downey of the NHL. What a shame he was unable to continue playing, due to his demons. But at least he's survived thus far. This list makes me grateful that Mac saw the light in time to correct his course.

hear, hear. I can't believe this it's already time for everyone to start complaining about the All Star game again. It got here quick, kind of like daylight savings time and it getting dark before I can get home from work for the next six months.

thanks, Doggy. I appreciate the support.

my comments stem from when he was, and all I was doing was pointing out a fact of life. Inequity exists on many levels. I just find it ironic how the tables turn, that's all. I do contribute other information to this board, you just don't bother to read it. Ozzie and Conks have the same team in front of them -- and the same effort for that matter -- that Hasek did early last season. You've apparently forgotten how bad it was in some games, with penalties aplenty, 2-1s, breakaways, turnovers, illegal goals, etc. etc. Dom kept them in a lot of games where they shouldn't have even been close to winning. Different expectations, different players. Comparing the two seasons isn't totally irrelevant, when you consider the circumstances are about the same... the only difference I see in this season early on and last is that the Wings now have Hossa = who is a major reason they don't look much worse. The only subtractions are Dom and Drake. How is it not relevant? Unless we can never speak of departed players again in any context here. You could PM me, but I have you blocked. I also have you on ignore, but some perverse part of my nature makes me want to peek at your posts. Bad looo...

freak out much? Just saying that reactions to stats are objective, depending on the player in question. You are a great example, BTW.
-
oh, damn... that sounds bad. Sorry to hear it.
-
I think it's fun that goalie stats no longer matter this season. How things change!!
