the Red Wings seem to have found the proper antidote for what ailed them, so it's all good now.

no, that's not right, although it looks as if he was the sole reason for the losses around here sometimes. The team played badly in several of the games in Round 1, not just Dom. But they seem to have corrected most of the glaring issues now -- odd man rushes and turnovers, deflected goals, etc. Things of the past, and I hope they stay that way.

Dom wasn't mediocre in games 1 and 2 in round 1, but I understand that's forgotten now. Whatever it takes to win, that's what the Wings need to do.

I wish fans could enjoy and respect the contributions of the players and the teams, without using "facts" to diminish the contributions of each. It's not possible, I guess.

You win the Most Intelligent Fan award for the day, Mac. Very good analysis. Turco has a bit of confidence right now, but it won't take much to get him off his game. His D is doing an amazing job of protecting him, but he's also has a nice run of seeing the puck well, as you say. I agree with Interminded, the Wings will have to beat the entire Dallas team... not just Turco. The whole team (esp. Morrow) is on a mission. It's Detroit's job to deny them.

My personal favorite, and current wallpaper on my computer is "Hold still, please." Still LOL~ it's a dead heat amongst Matt, Thunderpriest, and three or four others. Detroit fans have the edge on photoshop... hands down over any other boards. Clever, without resorting to ugliness and grossness. Well done, everyone. -
