    GDT-Pens/Rangers and Stars/Sharks

I wish I was in Dallas right now... this is some crazy stuff. Next mistake will decide the game, and series, perhaps.

Did Osgood pick on Drew Sharp in grade school?

Where in the world are you getting some of these quotes/opinions you are attributing to me, pray tell? You might not want to give yourself so much credit as to believe I actually was speaking directly to you. And you might want to be a little more careful about pointing at me and making up things I've never EVER said. I might be an easy target in your little world (because I DO still support Hasek OMG!!1!!!!!!), but please stop inventing things and attributing them to me, because it's convenient to your "argument." Stop now. Ozzie's been good this season on a team that is better than most. As for Hasek, he's virtually disappeared at this point, so that ought to be enough to content most posters here.

I would put Kronwall as 5, just for those Vladdy-esque hits in round one... but, yeah. ^^

Did Osgood pick on Drew Sharp in grade school?

I didn't think he was picking on Ozzie at all. He's merely pointing out what most people realize, and that is that Mule and Z (and Nick and Kronner and Helm) have contributed more to the momentum and wins thus far. Ozzie is getting plenty of credit, not to worry. Hasek cranked out back to back shutouts in the WCFs and won a triple OT in the 2002 finals... and didn't merit even a whisper of mention for Conn Smythe. There were people then saying Dom wasn't a factor at all. Not very bright people, but whatever....If you believe what you read, this team is even better than the 2002 crew. "Just" stopping the puck - as if that's ever easy - may not be enough to garner Ozzie the praise many think is warranted. Goalies usually don't get the credit they "deserve" in Detroit, because it's more difficult to look like the difference-maker when the team in front of you is so good.

GDT: 5/2 - Dallas Stars @ San Jose Sharks

Dallas actually won that game, but whatever. More games for SJ and Stars = more worn out opponents.

GDT: 5/2 - Dallas Stars @ San Jose Sharks

evidently the Stars are supposed to finish this at home in 6. The game ought to be 3-2.

GDT: 5/2 - Dallas Stars @ San Jose Sharks

and the tying goal is a post shot. Figures.

GDT: 5/2 - Dallas Stars @ San Jose Sharks

NOW the crowd goes wild. Dallas could lose their composure (and the game) over losing at least one goal this game. Ought to be 3-1.

Watch Dallas go get another one, legit, now.

GDT: 5/2 - Dallas Stars @ San Jose Sharks

This is the craziest thing I've seen in a while... Morrow's new name is No Goal.

augh... I hate these versus analysts. Ack.

GDT: 5/2 - Dallas Stars @ San Jose Sharks

kharma. Nabby may have just given away the game, on that goal. If Turco goes and takes a chill pill during the break, Stars will shut 'em down in the third.

GDT: 5/2 - Dallas Stars @ San Jose Sharks

3-0 Stars (or should be)... OK, 2-0.

GDT: 5/2 - Dallas Stars @ San Jose Sharks

I hope the goal judges are equally scrupulous if we have a "suspect" goal against this post-season, unlike last playoffs. Morrow is justifiably upset.

GDT: 5/2 - Dallas Stars @ San Jose Sharks

wow, are you kidding me??? No goal.

GDT: 5/2 - Dallas Stars @ San Jose Sharks

I thought so, guess not. It was almost 2-0 there, but for Nabby's post.

    Red Wings Rest...

rest is good. Wings are such veterans, this can only be good for them. "Red Wings Rest" is hard to say out loud, ten times fast.

Who scares you the most...DAL or SJ?

Dallas has the tools to be scary, but it remains to be seen if they can use them against the Wings. I probably know Dallas Stars better than any other team aside from the Wings. They can psyche themselves out of their current stellar run in a nano-second. I've seen it many times. You can't count on an elite player like Zubov to mess up (as he did in Game 4, regrettably), but when that does happen, the Stars have a tendency to fold up. The Stars are superior third period team, which drives their fans to distraction. You think we get riled when the Wings mess around and then try to win in the last 10 minutes? Welcome to Dallas Stars hockey. But if I know that, so do the Wings. Score early and shut them down in the third = win. If the same Wings who showed up in the Colorado series also appear in the next round (I do believe it will be Dallas), then Wings in 6. The Stars won't go quietly, but somehow I think Turco's demons will revisit him... wearing #13, #96, #93, and #40. SJ has Nabokov. Otherwise, they rely on serendipity to win a game, more than consistency. Stars are a great matchup to Detroit, IMO, a worthy WCF opponent. And, the travel is better for both teams since we're only a timezone apart.

    Pang: Avs in 6

when someone figures out what Stevie Y sees in this goof, please let me know.
  20. puckloo39

    7-0 or 8-2

No question at all. 7-0, 2002 Wings send Patty Waahhh packing, shut them out, and the Avs actually had most of their team on the ice, healthy, for that series. Not to take anything from tonight's effort (I love a good drubbing, anytime), but these Avs were no match for the Wings.

WCSF Game 4 GDT: Red Wings 8, Avalanche 2

did you see the idiot announcer trying to talk to Mule about a "squid" on the ice? Johan just stood there and looked at him, like, "you are such a fool..."

WCSF Game 4 GDT: Red Wings 8, Avalanche 2

I will ask the Wings to whoop them Stars for you, Duckie.

WCSF Game 4 GDT: Red Wings 8, Avalanche 2

not much else to do out there tonight. Maybe the Wings should feed Ozzie the puck, so he can shoot it down ice and get that last goal back. make it 9-2?

my bad... 5 minutes now. heh~

WCSF Game 4 GDT: Red Wings 8, Avalanche 2

we would never have guessed, Doggy. think the Avs can score 7 goals in the next 8 minutes?
