My big boss in Dallas just emailed me that he's leaving for the game. He's a Day One season ticket holder for the Stars (and Cowboys), but he tolerates my love of the Wings. He thinks SJ and Colorado are done. I am trying to be extra good, just in case he decides for some weird reason that he can't attend a game in round 3. I can dream, can't I?

I don't think Q is an idiot. Next to Bob Hartley, he's a freakin' genius. I applaud Q's loyalty to his #1 goalie. I appreciate his decision to play Theo, when clearly the better option, and maybe a spark for the Avs, would have been to play Budaj. So I am glad he put Theo back in. I also loved that he let Forsberg play last night. So effective. Not. I got a good laugh out of watching Petey fall down every shift. I think he provided just the right amount of distraction for his team mates, to make them totally vulnerable to the Red Wings' already amazing play. Wings are such a pretty team to watch when they bring their "A" game. Theo for Game 4!!! Who's with me??

I will go with Dallas on this vote. They are physical (I lost count of the hits last night, but it was impressive!) They are confident in playing a team which has the tools to beat them, but can't get a foothold in this series. Turco is on a mission this postseason, and has his team's unwavering support. Not to say Nabby hasn't been good, I felt bad for him last night. The key factor in Dallas, however, it Zubov's return. You can see them getting better and better with his on-ice leadership. I don't anticipate Dallas will let SJ back into this series.

happens all the time. The back up has no pressure and nothing to lose, everything to gain. If he's half way decent (and Budaj is), he will take advantage and run with it. It's harder to be be big dog in net than it looks though, so maybe the Wings will solve him, too.

I agree. Although I don't think Theo is their problem. Goalies don't have any influence on 10 SOG in 2/3 of a game. Maybe they just miss Forsgoober so much they can't concentrate. Wings better take advantage of whatever is wrong, though.
