nope. Unfortunately. I wish they would ramp it up and not wait til the end of the 4rd to try and win. Maybe Dom can keep it scoreless til then.

Well, it worked out so well last night taking stupid penalties, I'd say that's just what we don't need.

I finally got a chance to watch this. Hilarious. Datsyuk is beyond good at what he does. Amazing "sleight of stick" work. Trevor just giggled. The rest of the NHL probably cusses and moans when they see Pavel headed their way.

not worried about goal. The Wings who make the big bucks to score the goals and defend need to be on board. That's all.

Lucy.... you got some 'splainin' to dooo.... I reiterate: Dom wasn't the main problem last night. Maybe he could have had Lang's goal -- but by that time, the whole team had disintegrated beyond recovery. If everyone shows up tonight, no explanations will be required. Cheli needs to not start stuff the team can't finish.

I think they do have to play well. If they serve up another first period of stupid penalties -- yes, Cheli's outburst probably set the tone for the game, and it wasn't good -- and NO OFFENSE, then we will not clinch tonight. I don't think you can lay last night's game on the goalies' shoulders. Neither were stellar. The team was worse. If the defense and offense are on board tonight, it won't matter which goalie plays. Dom needs the work to get sharp.

I agree. It's easier to save a puck you can see. They'll do fine tonight. I do wish we had Homer and Draper back, though. Last night was a test, and the team failed. It happens. -

If Babcock were fired over tonight's game, he should, by rights, have a lot of company amongst the Red Wings players. Fire the offense and defense while we're at it, if that's the solution to a nasty, out-of-sync, season-ending slump game. EDIT: this ^^^^^^ is sarcasm, for those who didn't figure that out. They will be totally embarrassed by this, and you will see a different "Wing-like" team tomorrow night.
