Ozzie was great. Can't win without goal support, right? I think what the Wings have to do before Vancouver is figure out who is going to the net and crash Luongo... no flinging of the puck at the whalething on his chest. I just hope they're out of triage in time to warm up for the game tomorrow night. Poor Wings. The ice machine and trainer are going to be very busy tonight.

I am always amused by teams who are all excited about "earning" a shut out against a team missing a third of its top players to injury. But, whatever, I guess. I think the GR guys played as well as could be expected, better even.

and the Calgary crowd goes insane at the prospect of an empty net goal... and... he misses. I agree, not a bad game defensively, considering, and Ozzie played well. No goalie can win with no goal support. This has got to be addressed, this lack of scoring business.

oh, dear, we're gonna get shut out. To these goons, this stinks. Poor Wings, poor Ozzie... my voodoo was not powerful enough, boyz, I am sorry. 37 shots on Kipper's chest protector, plus at least 3 posts, and there are no goals for us. Better luck next game, if anyone can still skate with all the injuries we're suffering.

ugh... we just don't have enough going for us to score tonight. I am holding out hope that we will do the famous Red Wings last five minutes of the game and at least tie it up. We could take them in a shoot out, I think. Erikkson is good, I like him. He is reminding me of Fisch with that size and speed.

Flames announcers have a good point (for once)... Z shooting at the C on Kipper's chest is probably not going to result in a goal. And we've missed the net 11 times (so far). They're counting in Calgary.

old joke here, RS. Someone once typed 4rd, meaning 3rd, and it kinda stuck. Sort of a good luck charm when we are down, to predict the action in the 4rd. You... had to be there, maybe. I put my flames voodoo doll in the microwave. Think it will work??

aside from the blatant missed calls on the Flames were trying to injure our players, this game is remarkably even. Hits are 11 to 4 in favor of the Flames, but it's hard to hit back when you're being slammed into the boards without a helmet and getting your teeth knocked out. Poor Wings. OK. I have my Flames voodoo doll out. Enough of hurting my Wings... Dats and Homer with goals in the 4rd!!

How about Kopay getting his head crushed (without a helmet) by the dirty b****** Phaneuf, and Drake spitting teeth, but no call... it was "inadvertant" according to the announcers. Ozzie is tougher than we give him credit for, but we're in trouble big, if he goes down tonight. Let's hope the baby-D can take care of him, best they know how. I am going to join you in screaming here in a minute.

Wings are doing OK, considering they are so decimated by injuries. Ozzie's been beyond solid.
