Wings are really in a scoring slump lately. Another game with only 2 goals scored, on 35-40 shots total on the opposing goalie. Dom and Ozzie really need to never allow more than 1 goal per game, unless something changes, and soon.

are there redwood trees in Sweden? The Preds announcers have said at least 4 times now that Homer is a redwood tree, parked in front of the net.

espn scoreboard still hasn't figured out who Howard is. The shot count total and Ozzie's stats are there, but no Jimmy! Shots 30-16, Detroyit/Prednecks (I like that one, too!)

he's doing OK, considering. Most of the shots are not getting though to him. That one did, however. Wow, the Wings are just helpless out there. 4-1 Preds.

Wings outshooting the Preds, 25-11. That bothers me, too, that we routinely put 30-40+ shots on the opponent's goalie, and net maybe 2 goals per game. Makes Mason look like a genius, and that's about all. matching penalties? Draper and Devries...

getting closer and closer, hope they keep up the pressure. It really concerns me that the Wings have fallen into a pattern of only showing up like the "real" Red Wings for about 10 minutes in each game. Been like this since the All Star game, it seems.

I like your siggie, Pack. Dom won't be happy about any number reached in this fashion, I suspect. Howard's giving them a chance to redeem themselves. They'll do better in the 2nd, I feel certain. A couple of quick goals early on, and we have a different game.

he's only faced 7 shots, maybe 8. No biggie so far. I want Dumont in a Wings sweater. Penalty coming on the Wings... again.

that's the truth. Babs had to bench somebody, and the obvious message to the team was to get Ozzie out of harm's way. The Wings are looking a little bit better now. Of course, one could say they could hardly have looked much worse in the first ten minutes of this game.

defense is where it's been the last three games. Out to lunch. Offense is arguably worse. Dom and Ozzie can only do so much. Maybe the Preds will skunk us 12-0 and the Wings will wake up?

Nabby and Giguere dream of ever having Dom's or Ozzie's game/careers. The Wings have to be embarrassed by this start. They will come back, you'll see!
