I can't believe we're the only ones watching this laugh fest. Go, Kings, Go!!! Still 3-0. Giguere just had a really bad night, but I think yanking him was as much to send a message to the punk team in front of him, as much as anything. Derek Armstrong having a good night, for sure. I said the other night when the Wings unravelled the Kings, the Kings on paper look like a much better team than what showed up to play the Wings. They are a much better team tonight v. the Ducks than they were against us.

You mean whenever "Prongs" is not running other players into the glass face first, hitting them from behind? I don't care if you are too tall, that was disgusting what he did to Homer. It was more disgusting that All Star Neidermayer helped and only one of them got suspended for it. Or did you mean when he's not trying to take out a player with a chronic knee injury in the playoffs (v. St. Louis)? Oh, wait, that one didn't exactly work on Stevie Y., did it? I don't wish an injury on any player, ever, but the hockey kharma police were watching that day, I think. The funny part of both situations is that the Red Wings players he tried to destroy in both instances came right back to play or weren't hurt at all, in Stevie's case. I have disliked Pronger for quite some time, it has nothing to do with the Ducks at all, in my case.

aside from Zdeno Chara, pretty much everybody IS smaller (well, shorter anyway) than Prissy. He can't help it that he's tall, as you recall. It makes him do bad things to other players. BTW, I thought Scheider was going to get Homer last night. I musta missed it.

I couldn't agree more, HC. I was very proud of every single one of the Red Wings last night. They stepped up, snarled in just the right places, and made the Ducks think about some things last night. They are no pushovers, our Wings - if the Ducks ever thought so, they don't anymore. To me, it's less about who got in the last or best blow in a fight, as it is who took the high road, played their best, and won fairly. Wings won in all areas last night. I will take my classy, skilled Wings over goons with pet officials, anyday. You don't have to be the toughest, you just have to be the smartest when the play is equal or roughly so. I think I know who wins in that contest, and it's not Anaheim.

Stopping the mad flurries when the game was on the line, with his head or whatever he had handy, made more of an impact than Dats' assist. Sorry. I got the Anaheim feed, so I don't know what Daniels embellished or not. I know how well Dom played, however. But, I understand there are those here who think Dom never deserves a star, regardless of how well he plays. He really can't win for losing with some people, which is a real shame. Mostly, you get your way and he doesn't get recognized, so be happy and move on. edit: I would have given Kronner one over Dats and certainly over Pronger... pretty much anyone, besides him, actually.

aww... I wish CI didn't cut the game off the instant it's over. We never see anything like that, or the helmet bumps or anything. That's one good thing about Versus, we get post game stuff, too. It's not politically correct to say it in here anymore, but Hasek was awesome tonight. There. I said it.

Wings need to get the puck out. It's a matter of time if they let Anaheim keep hanging around our net with the puck. I would think they would want to finish this and go home, not head for OT and a shoot out.

the Ducks announcers like Hasek a whole lot more than most people in this forum do.

I loved that, the announcer dude tried to backpedal, and apologize, and Rafalski was like, yeah, whatever... Raffi was a gentleman, though. I hope Raffi get a couple more goals in the 4rd. It seems right and fitting.
