A terrible dilemma for Babcock to face, having two equally capable goalies at the ready for the playoffs. It will be interesting to see what he does. While I applaud Ozzie's efforts, 21 games to Dom's 19 thus far in the season doesn't predict who will be the better choice or who will have better stats (Dom or Ozzie) when the playoffs start. I love it when people say, "If the playoffs started today..." -- well, they don't start today. They start 3.5 months from now. I know it's not the usual, but what is wrong with tandeming them in the playoffs, just as in the regular season? It's not normal, but then again, most teams only have one true #1. We have two. And I agree, Ozzie doesn't get the praise he deserves, for whatever reason.

I have to ask this: who in the Hell at Versus has decided that Dom looks "disinterested" in playing this season? That is hands-down the most stupid thing I have ever heard. Dom is the fiercest competitor on Earth. Idiotic. Engblom needs a haircut. Bad. His hair looks like the Sabres' banana slug logo.

I refuse to accept that these Wings cannot score a goal on Manny, for heaven's sake. They need to get at least one before the perry-odd ends. I just hope they don't have a brainfart and let the Booos get a last minute goal, either, since they're having so much trouble with Legace tonight.

booos doing a good job on what they said they would do: keep the Wings outside, all low % shots (what there are of them) except for the chance Dats generated all alone off the faceoff. Manny with a quick glove, but he should know Dats, I guess.

I'd love to think they're going score on this power play. But I am doubtful... STL looks like they're on the PP, not short-handed. Come on, Wings, the party at Cheli's doesn't start til AFTER the game.

there are plenty of scoring chances on this PP. Unfortunately, they're all on us. Dom stopped 'em. Manny scooped up another softie. Manny's tried to score on himself twice now, and no Wings there to take advantage. Drat!!

Hi, Vip! Happy New Year! Game is mostly STL desperately trying to get the puck away from the Wings. The last two minutes were the most interesting... as the Wings always try to give me a heart attack when the other teams try to get a last minute goal.

Hasek was Hasek. Hooray! Now, tell me why oh why Sammy was on the PP units, and is that why we got nothing?

vintage Hasek, there. He might not make a lot of saves on a given night, but he makes the few he does count. Manny saw lots of pucks but not very many chances. We need to change that in the 2nd, and put some behind Manny.

I can't believe we didn't score on those PPs. Hope the missed chances don't come back to haunt us later in the game
