it's all in one's perspective, Harold. Judging from the reaction you saw, not everyone appreciates the way Hasek's been treated here. It's just an opinion, not whining, when posters disagree with crude comments about Hasek's play. I much prefer people trying to support the Wings whipping-goalie to those who can't heap enough praise on Ozzie, who is obviously doing great. Goes both ways.

I couldn't believe the Wings let the game vs. the Oilers go to shoot out, when they had to know the Oilers are freakish in wins in SO. They really need to get with it here, time is running out. Again.

Hope they didn't use up all the offense in the last game. If they let this one go to OT and a shoot out, I am going to be very displeased.

Zubov = Russian Nick. He's awesome for Dallas. But I don't know that he's ever been considered for a Norris. He is that good, however. It ain't always fair, but I can't see Neiderwhiner beating Nick out for Norris this season.

not sure if I am allowed to say this, but Dom and Olie are tied save for save, identical sv%s tonight. I will also dare to say Dom's made some fine saves tonight. If that's a pity party, so be it. I just thought someone should mention that the Wing's goalie isn't sucking. Now, we need some of that offensive power they displayed to win the last game, in the third period tonight.

aw, dallas, you know I respect your opinion and I know you're a goalie... but no one is making Dom out to be anything good at this point. I think he was surprised at the quickness of the shot off the lost faceoff. It's not like it was trickling into the goal, it was a laser shot. But if you wanna blame Dom... ok.

Ovechkin is going to score when the puck is dished up to him on a lost faceoff and no one in a Wings sweater is looking. Apparently some folks here think the only way to make Ozzie look better (as if it's needed) is to bash every move Hasek makes, jump on any mis-step and ignore the things he does right. The losses are NOT all his fault, anymore than the wins are 100% Ozzie's doing.
