I am happy for Blackhawks fans who finally get to see this on TV. This oughta be a good one...
-
I did, I like that pic of him.
-
you did great, RS... we have Chicago feed, but it's better than nothing, for sure!
-
are you getting the game on CI, RS? We are here. Yay!
-
here you go. voting starts on Tuesday @ NHL.com VOTE FOR WINGS OF YOUR CHOICE NHL All-Star Game voting opens at NHL.com to pick the starting lineup for the Jan. 27 game in Atlanta. Five of your Detroit Red Wings are on the ballot -- Dominik Hasek, Nicklas Lidstrom, Brian Rafalski, Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk -- and you can write in more if you like. Voting ends Jan. 2, and you may vote often.

the last 7-8 games have been so much better in terms of fewer bogus calls (perhaps the Wings have adapted to the officiating), fewer turnovers, fewer odd-man rushes... the Wings have just flat out played better as a team than they did in the first games. So, I agree, we will win if the ice stays level, Wings should be fine tonight.
-
oy... well, I guess we shall find out, RS. The last outing with the wonderful new NHL Network was so badly handled, who knows what they're doing? Like Vip said, our schedule last Weds. when we lost the game on CI said NHLN on the CI lineup, but this time it doesn't say that. Not right now, anyway. I'll be czeching in at 6:00PM CST and if the channel is blank, then I guess I don't get to see the game.
-
for what it's worth, my CI schedule here says game 3, with no indication of NHLN on the listing, like last time they swiped our Wings game. Of course, that may mean nothing, and when 6PM rolls around, we may have nothing again. We shall see! Or not. Let's hope the puck bounces the correct direction for the team tonight and we finally get that 10 in a row. Go, Wings!!

Quite an accomplishment, even though it wasn't exactly highlight reel material. But I bet JR will take it anyway.
-
he didn't come back to brag, butZND4C was correct!

there could be something to the bloodline, or maybe it's environment... hard to say. Paul Stastny, son of Peter Stastny, is another chip off the old ice-block. Dad Peter was a Hockey Hall of Famer in 1998 and ranks 34th all time in NHL points.. I think Peter's other son, Yan, still plays in the NHL, too. Not sure where right now. The Stastny's are a hockey family, sort of like Slovakian Suters.

Kronner was great and he looked so confident and happy tonight. Great job!! LOL @ Dom's hair taking a hiatus. you're so bad. In a good way, of course.
-
Dom with the .933 sv%
-
We are at least twice as good as them, huh?
-
I think players like Z and Dom and a couple of others set the bar a bit higher, and don't always get the consideration. We know Z is a star, no worries...
-
Game Stars: 1. Homer 2. Cleary 3. Kronner
-
They were all awesome, I thought. Yes, I thought Dom was just fine, and I am happy for him. Thanks!!
-
true, he does most thing very well, my goalie does. That was too fun... I am so proud of Kronner and Cleary, and my Homer and Z love aboundeth. Edi, I don't think your foreboding feeling this morning had anything to do with this game. I am very sorry about your little pet, hope you're OK.
-
Boo and yeah! I totally agree...
-
OMG, I just hurt my own ears screaming over that goal. Ow.
-
they all do that, players, too... I've seen a couple of Tony Award winners and an Emmy, too. Gosh dang it.... ZATA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Nash just ran over Dom in the crease, and has the nerve to look surprised when he's asked to go sit. Grow up, and watch where you're going, jerk. Come on, Wings!! Score another one, ZZZZ!!!!
-
ew?
-
you should stay... only five more minutes left. The BJS could easily get several more PPs in that amount of time! Good luck in class tomorrow. xo

good God, that was not hooking on Lids. Crap call. booooo~~~
