-
oooh, OZZIE OZZIE OZZIE!!!!!!!!!!!
-
ack! Go, Ozzie!! What a mass of humanity in that crease...
-
good stop, Oz. PP for the Kings.
-
Cleary looked good just now... Let's go Red Wings!!!
-
Datsyuk shoots!! He missed, but I will take it as a good sign anyway.

not exactly a cartoon (or maybe it is, depending on your viewpoint) Remember this?

you assumeth correctly. Goals win games. Therefore, I care about them. I like Wins. I agree. And I hate that people bash goaltenders for their sv%age -- which they can't do much about with so few shots on goal to hike up their ratios. Oh yeah, one more thing. I think the Wings could probably score more if they didn't spend so much time killing off penalties (some deserved, others not!). And if Dats would shoot instead of trying to pass all the time. so what else is new?

easily. Dallas got 5 on him on 10/10/07, no problem -- scoring isn't exactly Dallas' forte, although Hagman is 5th in the league for goals and points, beating Zetterburg's 20th at the moment and Dats at 266th in the league. Hopefully the Wings play 60 minutes for Ozzie today, unlike the game w/ the Hawks last Friday -- but I, for one, don't think goaltending is the reason we're lost one whole game by one goal. OMG. Det News today A look at the statistic sheet shows some of the key young players the Wings were banking on this season have clearly not gotten on track. Jiri Hudler (1 point, an assist), Valterri Filppula (0 points, 5 shots on goal), Niklas Kronwall (0 points, minus-2) and Tomas Kopecky (1 assist) have done little offensively through five games. I just hope they don't get embarrassed in Anaheim, never mind the Kings.

if you've watched Dom for longer than he's been a Red Wing or even since then, he starts slow, typically. But being Wings fans, many are ready to toss in the towel five games in. He got a one-line team to deal with and a boat-load of penalties (a couple deserved, several of them not so much). Tonight he didn't even have the "top line" show up. edit: except for Z, thank you for being there, Hank. Dom will adjust. Not so sure about a couple of the others.
-
correct. Let's hope the rest of the league is not paying attention, eh? Have fun in sunny California, guys. Khabi says to tell you "thank you very much for the win!"

Datsyuk playing spinorama in the corner...
-
Khabibulin will be toasting the Wings on the way home, for giving him this game. I cannot believe they didn't finish it just now. Maybe they have decided to look forward to the trip west and call it a night?
-
that was a goal trying to happen... nobody there to take advantage of a huuuuge rebound. I miss Brett Hull at times.
-
Datsyuk, zero shots on goal.
-
we're done unless Datsyuk and Zata decide to show up.
-
Maybe Draper can sneeze on someone and they'll get a 5-3. Hasek saves. Clear puck, Wings, please?
-
oh, good, another penalty. Do we want to lose, boyz?
-
good kill, Wings. son of a dammit, Edi... I hear "Duncan Sheik" now, instead of Duncan Keith.
-
I've always wondered that myself. When Dom is gone, I am going to obsess over a defenseman or someone less visible and blameworthy, just to save myself some grief.
-
Be right over, Edi. nighty-night~
-
of course, they can... They'll get it back, come out tough in the third, Wings!!
-
just trade him and be done with it...
-
I assume that you're kidding...
