I am sorry you're upset, and HC, too. We just had a lot of bad luck with injuries this season, and some good luck, too. Cheli and Dom were amazing. I dare anyone to dismiss what they did for this team, considering AARP is knocking on their doors. Dom played for love of the Wings, not money -- and those who don't appreciate it... well, I am sorry, but you missed the entire experience this season. They were amazing. Not a fluke that Hasek was in the goal for Wings in their first time out of the first round since 2002. Nick was a great leader, I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. Babcock -- I was impressed. Pavel showed everyone that he can show up for the playoffs. It's the young ones and late arrivals I feel bad for. Bert and Calder, Cleary, Lils and Lang. I feel bad for Kopecky and Hudler, neither of whom got to make the impact that I believe they could have. Young heroes and unsung heroes -- they are all heroes to me right now, win or lose.

at least the *ing Yucks fans aren't jeering anymore. Their goalie is dead even with Dom... what is a shame is the Wings didn't show up for the first 2/3 of the game. They can think about this all summer, I guess. For those who are moaning about the fact that Dom let in 4, get bent. If the Wings had played like they meant it from the first, you wouldn't have anything to whine about, would you? Great effort, Wings... wish it had happened sooner, is all.

Emery is a great goalie, far better than Giguere, IMO. What will kill the Yucks is Ottawa's unbelievable ability to generate goals, they are a scoring machine. Unlike our Wings, unfortunately.

honestly, it doesn't matter at this point if they lose 2-0 or 3-0, does it? Picking apart Dom's saves really is irrelevant considering we're going to get shut out either way, unless someone puts some more effort into scoring.

I agree, though I am amazed the Wings just let this game go. Aside from Dom, absolutely no one showed up. I cannot imagine what they are going to say to Hasek or each other about this game next week. The only good thing about this is that the Sens will simply dismantle Anaheim. And I won't have to listen to the media moan about Dom "quitting" on the Sens. Anyone see any "quit" in him tonight? He's still playing as if the Wings could come back and win it. If they do, I will be amazed, but wouldn't that be a kick in the pants? Yeah, I know... unlikely, but it would be fun.
