I don't see how he was to blame on goal 1, but think what you want (he didn't turn the puck over, I don't think??) I concede the second would likely not have happened if Dom hadn't tried too hard to play hockey instead of goal. That means the rest of them need to show up, and he won't do that. Bad habit he has, trying too hard. It comes back to bite him on occasion. The few good saves on the few shots he saw were back breakers in game 1. He did though, and kept it from being ridiculous. The Sharks don't need any more encouragement and energy.

he's got a two-goal maximum. All the Wings have to do is go score when they need to, Dom will take care of the rest, despite the fact that he's got an uphill battle on his hands. 25 turnovers?? and only two goals. Dom is the reason the scores are not completely ridiculous, Mac. And that's a fact.

if we had forwards who could score, we would dominate as well. Dance with who brung ya. This is your team (maybe?) so get over it, and cheer for them.

Instead of constantly bashing over everything he does "wrong," try supporting him for all the things he does right. Try it, you might like it. He's the reason the first game wasn't 8-0, and while he might have contributed to a goal today, he's the reason this game isn't worse than it is as well. Credit where it's due once in a while, how about it? Tell me he hasn't been the reason we're still in a one goal game this period.... I will never lose faith in Dom or the rest of the Wings, no matter how many brain farts and lack of production they exhibit.

OK, I trust your opinion, Edi. I guess Babs can't bench the rest of the team for non-performance, so Dom's the best target if he wants to send a message. Dom can't make a mistake when the team is incapable of scoring a goal, or from what it sounds like, can't even get near the net. No goals = no win. Perhaps they will do better in the second? I am leaving here in 15 minutes. Not sure I want to see this game, but hoping they get better...

my goodness... how "old school" of you all! This current team is not the '80's Wings, and they will not give away another game to the Sharks or anyone else. Good luck to you guys, too!

what to do if we don't score, we don't win... pretty simple on the face of it. We have plenty of talent offensively but sure didn't make the Sharks worry at all in Game 1 -- I'm talking to you, Pav and Hank. Let's see who steps up today and gets to be the hero!!
