Agreed... it's early to be grading, but everyone's excited. A+++ to the entire team and coaching staff for playing all 60 minutes and for scoring more than 2 goals and for showing heart and emotion. They did not disappoint (me, anyway...). It was a good performance, and it's going to get better, I think. Removing red (wing) tinted homer glasses, now.

equal time, there, Edi. I don't know who said it, I read it third hand on another board, but I don't doubt it was said. I refer to any "convenient" hiatus due to injury as a Forsberg Vacation. Oh, you're back in perfect health just in time for the playoffs? I read in another forum where some commentator was saying no one could be out as long as Hank was and come back and play that well, so he was faking and the Wings were embellishing the injury. I really wonder where these "experts" get off saying crap like that. Not that it doesn't happen ALL the time. It's just sad that some will believe it...

It is kind of a shame that the game didn't sell out. I sure would have gone if I was a thousand miles closer. Do you guys think thre will be more attendance as the series progresses? Times are hard and I can see where people can't afford tickets anymore. I read somewhere that the three first round losses in a row put some buyers off this season. Seriously? Spoiled a little, maybe. I dunno.... I can't believe Iginla is proud of his behavior tonight (if that's the case, I mean). Conduct unbecoming to someone who's supposed to be the team leader and heart. I was a little worried that the Flames would take inspiration from it and come out swinging on Sunday, but on reflection I believe the Wings will just treat them like any other tantrum-throwing child and work around them til they wear themselves out. I wish Sunday wasn't a noon game, that's never good, IMO. But I am sure the Wings can deal with it!

It was a great game. If I bother you so much, don't read what I say. People rant and defend Ozzie with swearing and threats, and that's acceptable? I say what I think and you get bent outta shape.
