Good luck to Kipper trying to see anything around Homer's big red butt, or Franzen's, or Calder's... Dom has handled far worse in his career than whoever Moss is. No goalie can see past a good screen, so it's up to the Wings to keep the lanes and sight lines clear for the goalie.

It sucks to be Turco... he had one goal kicked in by his own D (Sydor) and another was just a fluke (Smokes' goal). I felt bad for the Stars, but especially Turco. I thought he was going to shake the "can't win a game 1" curse -- but no. Luongo was just outrageously good, but so was Marty, I though. Shame one of them had to lose.

Could be a "sprain" vs. "strain" thing. They should be more careful with words when they report on injuries, but we know they aren't always. I am concerned that Hank will play at 50% and not be able to contribute. But perhaps just having him out there will ignite something good.

I am ready for this game, even though I watched hockey til 2:30AM here this morning. I dragged myself to work and talked hockey with a tech at Time Warner in St. Louis (job related stuff).
