they did. I'll be quiet now.

please don't offer me any sort of treatment. I'm fine... really. Dallas is figuring Vancouver out as we watch. Go, Stars!! And.... Naslund wires one past Turco! wow!!!
-
we all really are obsessed, aren't we?
-
I am watching Center Ice and Versus, but the link you provided works perfectly for me here. Reem?
-
Luongo's not having fun. 2-2, Dallas just scored. Daly fired one past him... and the Nuckie fans go silent.
-
Luongo looking shaky tonight... rookie playoff jitters.
-
there goes OT #1, Preds/Sharks, score 4-4
-
Turco laid a check on a Nuck! LOL~
-
Vancouver just scored. Drat.
-
OT #1, anyway. Thank God, no shootouts in the playoffs. Go, Sharkies~~

where's Edi "Hide the rope!"? Vokoun looks like a peewee next to Nabokov. Too bad he's still bigger than the puck this game.
-
Forsberg falls down. Gosh, this looks familiar. San Jose needs to put this one away. Dallas and Vancouver still tied, 1-1

Nabby "Hasek's" Tootoo with a snow angel!

it's amazing how little is known here in Austin about hockey. I have a Red Wings logo on the back of my car. Some guy stopped me in the grocery store parking lot once, and said, "What's that?", pointing at my Wings logo. I said, "A Red Wing's decal." He responded, "Yeah, but whatis that?" Um... a hockey team??? I saw a car in front of me on MoPac (freeway) just this morning with a Flames car flag. I couldn't catch him to show him my Red Wings baseball cap. Shocking to see a Calgary fan here, I am just glad to also find a few Wings fans!

is he going to make you shave your head? can't wait!! it's a bit of a commute, but we'd love to have you join us, V. I wish you had company, too.
-
oh, yay! You will forgive me if I don't shave my head... I can't wait. Hockey is always more fun when you have someone to high-five with, or drink beer(s) with if things don't play out correctly (i.e. Wings win). Or drink beers with if things go right, for that matter! Everyone: sorry for the slightly OT thread. Once we find all the Austin Wings (and Blak, you must come to the next one) we can PM each other for the next one. Thanks! Looo

yes, he is on the payroll for the Stars. Not that I think he said what he did because of that. I think he wishes he was still a Wing. http://www.dallasstars.com/stars/bio-hull.jsp

for certain. I will be the camera person, ya'll. Wear Wings jerseys!!! List your name here, if you can make Sunday's Game: I am making an executive decision -- WOODROW'S NORTH for Sunday 4/15 game. Please come if you can. I will be there at 11:30AM, waiting for you. I am female, w/ short blondish hair... and wearing a Red Wings jersey!! 1. Loooo 2. Lint, you coming? drwscc, rivieraillusions?
-
Woodrow's is fine, too. Legends is in the Holiday Inn at 183 and 360. Guys? where is better? Woodrow's is OK with me, too. It's at Parmer and McNeil (west on Parmer, off of North MoPac. Yankee, you and I are way north and that's convenient for me. Some of our AustinWings are way south.

Gonna put a little Celtic beat-down on old Grapes, there, GCW? I've been to Scotland and it is not for the timid! Beautiful country, however, I look forward to another chance to visit. I think Don's come down off that soft Euro rant a bit in recent years, has he not? I know he's still all for Canada, uber alis, but that's OK. When our European captain and European #1 goalie win it all again, he will have to admit that Euro's rule, yes? Dom was the first European born and trained #1 goalie to win a Cup, I believe. Khabibulin, as usual, followed in Dom's footsteps. Nick Lidstrom is the first and only non-North American to win the Conn Smythe. I say we add to their trophy cases again this season! edit: Go, "Team Sweden"! Nick, Homer, Zata, Lilly, Mule, Sammy and Kronner (from the press box)!

LOL @ Rick Zombo's post. Go, Cheli!! Call 'em like you see 'em.
-
OK, zaxx, you win. I officially love you for what you just said. You do understand my goalie, don't you? Sorry. Go, WIngs!!!
-
I am hoping every other player on the team is even half as motivated as Hasek - he is obsessed this time of year. j/k I am sure they are all fired up. Even if the Wings should lose, I believe they all try their hardest. It's all we can ask, really.
-
nice article, Earth... thanks! Dom has nothing to prove, and at the same, everything to prove to some people, at this point. Best of luck to the Dominator.

I do support Dom, and you're right, he will rise to the challenge. I am sure Babs thought it was a dive, and he was clearly pretty frustrated with the whole game. Dom was just the last straw. Dom's comment afterwards was "I did get hit, Mike probably couldn't see it from the bench." There wasn't any point in Dom challenging the coach's calling him out. Done is done, so he moved on. Dom seems to respect Babcock, even if blaming the loss on him wasn't the right thing to do; he's a professional. I say again, one goal per game is the problem... not the goalie trying desperation measures to get a break, so the team has one more chance to try and win it. Hasek's reputation makes him a target for non-calls and bad calls, it goes with the territory. I don't expect Dom to try anything like that in the playoffs, but if things get bad enough, I guess all bets are off. It's hard to say what he will do, if the Wings get their backs against the wall. zaxx, I don't know how to upload or transfer the clip from my DVR, sorry. I saw what I saw. Analysts can say whatever they want. I always suspect the media, they have their own agenda. It doesn't mean they are correct, it just means they have a public forum to say whatever they want, and it becomes fact. If you wanted to go to the trouble and the articles are still online, Babs came out later on and said the media twisted what he said, and only took the comment on Dom as the reason for the loss. He apparently said other things, but all they focused on was his comment about Dom. Typical. I am glad to know you support Dom. Thanks! you're my man, Marcus!
