me too, to Buffalo for a game. It was 70 degrees and sunny one day and 17 degrees the next, with a howling wind and blizzard. I was very happy to leave, although the people were nice there. Sabres are basically all they have, so I get why they are so mad that the team is not doing well

well... at least the Buffalo fans are mad that their team is coasting and sucks. And they are drop-dead experts in losing and having a hideous team product in front of them. We are a bunch of rookies over here, with our team sucking. So, Sabres goalie is playing his very first NHL game. I am sure the Wings will hand him a perfect game with no goals against -- since we excel at doing that anymore. We do not like scoring goals, for some reason. I predict the Sabres will get to feeling much better about themselves here tonight. Helm on the first line? I am sobbing here... really? Oh... let's go, Red Wings...

I told Blah not to pull the goalie... but I guess shut out by 3 is no worse of a loss than shut out by 1 goal. We were not going to get one anyway on the PP.

I used to be concerned about OT and shootouts running too long, and maybe NBC would cut our game off since they do not like us, etc. Not something I worry about anymore. We could not tie this to save our lives...

I don't disagree. Larkin started his NHL run with Zetterberg setting him up to score goals and look like a total stud out there. Life changed when Z and Kronner both retired. Development interrupted...

so.. things are tough all over. Being a die-hard Wings fan right now isn't easy, is it? I am not mad at them, ever. They break my heart when they cannot score a goal, no matter how hard they try. And they ARE trying....

Never a huge fan of Shakira, but she's a super star in some countries. I do like J-Lo, she seems like a decent person and she works her amazing ass off at her craft.
