People were crying after the loss @ Islanders that Wings are doomed. Of course Kenny believes they are going to make the playoffs. It's his team, he built it. He knows they are the best in the league when healthy. I wouldn't be upset if Wings make it to the finals again during a 'rebuilding year'. Kenny believes. I back him 100%

Considering this year's unfortunate injuries, making the playoffs is a success in itself.

No, go back and read the entire conversation on page 1 and 2. He said when E returns, Meech is out. I corrected him and said Janik is likely out. He replied with an insult by saying that I have only been watching hockey for two years. The argument was Holland is going to move Meech before Janik, which he was clearly wrong. Like I said in the first 2 pages, Babcock doesn't care how you 'feel', he's not going to change his entire plan based on some random internet person's 'feelings'. Now he must eat crow for being a ****** bag... and for being wrong.

I must have watched hockey 2 more years than you, sport. Ready to fess up and admit that you have no clue about hockey? Ericsson in, Janik out. "Doug Janik was reassigned to Grand Rapids of the AHL." http://www.freep.com/article/20100114/SPOR...turning-tonight Crow, have some.

If it's healed up 100% and no risk to re-injury, he should play as soon as it's ready.

“But that gives him 20 or 21 games (to prepare for the playoffs). We’ll have him back for a quarter of the season.’’ Sounds like their is no question in Holland's mind that Wings won't make the playoffs.

Our powerplay is our enforcer... oh, wait. I don't think having May (or Newbury) in the line-up really changed anything. I don't think fighting serves more of purpose other than entertainment value. Not talking anything away from May, I think he's a good 4th liner and brings some energy.

    Canucks @ Wild

Yeah, it turned out to be an okay fight. At first they just tugged on each others jerseys and danced in circles. Then they started exchanging haymakers. I can't say who bested the other, but the fight lasted for awhile. The Canucks jersey was in shreds by the end of it.

Damn, the entire Red Wings team owe you a chili dog and autographed puck.

    Canucks @ Wild

Wild destroyed Canucks 5-2 and are now trailing Red Wings with only 1-point back in the standings. I'm convinced Wild are the hottest team in the NHL right now.

Injuries are, in fact, a large reason why the stars are slumping. Also blame the lack of chemistry earlier in the season when Bert was struggling. Also consider the fact that Lidstrom is struggling offensively. His elbow? More than likely. Also take in consideration of the fact of losing Sammy, Hossa, Hudler and Kopecky... Okay, maybe not Kopecky. Zetterberg was a point per game before getting injured. Almost on pare with Evgeni Malkin. I guess Evgeni is getting old and slow and is all washed up too. Oh, here's an idea, maybe since the Red Wings have played more games in the entire NHL just might have a impact on the players production? Ya think? Maybe your theory isn't so cut and dry, black and white as you originally thought. That's okay, even though you lack common sense and basic logic, I'm sure you're still smart in your own special way.

I think so. I have it on mute as I'm working while watching the game. Wild's power play looks extremely dangerous. Wild has to be one of the hottest teams right now.

    Correction: 37 games; 25 wins; 50 points = 102 points in 82 games.
