Janik has been great for us. I hope he stays over Meech and/or Lebda. Somebody should email this thread to Babcock so he knows what we want.

Howard to start vs. Isles, Big E eyes return vs. 'Canes

What happens when Babcock makes the changes that you don't like? Will you be okay? I don't want to read this in the paper: "LetsGoWings.com member jumps off bridge and plummets into icy waters over dissatisfied Red Wing's roster changes" -

....and there's the fundamental flaw in your logic. LGW's members don't decide the roster, Babcock does. How you 'feel' makes no difference to Babcock and his decision making. But what bothers me the most is why someone would let an internet message forum get them all strung out? You really do need to take a deep breath and chill out. No need to get all stressed out over nothing... -

Why are you throwing personal attacks and getting all defensive? I simply stated that Babcock likes Meech on the PP with Kronwall out. Am I wrong? Meech was called up when Kronner went down. Janik was added when E went down. Ericsson does play the PP, Babcock hasn't been playing him on the PP much, he's been the PK specialist. No reason to get all upset. You need to chill out. -

Babcock likes to use Meech on the PP with no Kronwall. Janik is likely out. -
Chicago Blackhawks are not more immune to injuries than Detroit. Anything can happen. Red Wings game plan is simple; win. They shall sort out the standings after the 82nd game.

Lidstrom was 53rd pick overall, does that automatically mean Kronwall will be twice as good as Lidstrom?
-
Ducks have real goaltending, Hawks goaltending is a joke/choke. I'd rather face Hawks in the playoffs. They'll fold like a $2 hooker.
-
Why do people think Frolov will come here?
-
I'm glad Wings are not in the eastern conference.
-
Lol. Blackhawks lost to the Ducks 3-1 and Blackhawksdown will come here to show us a screen shot of the standings.

Doesn't look like Matthias was keeper anyhow from looking at his stats. Granted he's playing for the Panthers, he's not tearing it up. He's no Abdelkader or Helm, that's for sure. And from the looks of things, Bertuzzi is here for $1.5 million and has single handedly won games for the Detroit Red Wings to keep us in within reach of a playoff spot. Bert said he wanted back to Detroit and now he is. Thanks to Matthias! Now if Holland signs Bert to a long term deal and keeps him here, all is good.

You HATE Ericsson and your friend HATES Kronwall? What kind of fans are you? Kronwall is the better defenseman RIGHT NOW, but Ericsson has all the tools to be as good or better than Kronwall as he learns the NHL. Remember, Ericsson was a forward when Wings drafted him and was then developed into a defenseman. Nill, Holland, Babcock and even Ken Hitchcock are very high on Ericsson. "We have a kid named Ericsson, and I can't believe we don't dress him. I think he's going to be a stud in the league." — Mike Babcock "I think he has a chance to have a real impact in the league. He's a bona fide NHL defenseman ... He's going to be here for 15 years." — Babcock "He reminds me of (Vladimir) Malakhov, the way he plays and the way he skates. He has all of the body language of Vladdie with just his mobility and his ability to be calm with the puck." — Ken Hitchcock "Thank goodness we have him. He's a big body, he can skate well, looks like Chris Pronger, he's a good passer. He doesn't cross-check and do that stuff but does the rest." — Babcock http://www.redwingscentral.com/prospects/ericsson.php

I love how Wings org treats Vlad. In 2002 he was in the Cup celebration and 2008 to0, right. Anyone have images?

Do you have a source that proves otherwise? No? I didn't think so. Red Wings w/ no Hossa = cup Pittsburgh w/ Hossa = no cup Red Wings w/ Hossa = no cup Pittsburgh w/ no Hossa = cup It's a proven curse. -

You know, I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but this could be a clever move by Holland in regards to the Hudler situation. I mean, Jim Nill basically told fans to lower expectations that this was more of a rebuilding year. With Lidstrom's contract coming off the books next year, perhaps Holland and Hudler have a gentlemens agreement. Holland - "Hey Hudler, we can't afford to pay you next season, so go sign a short deal with the KHL, cash in, and get some more experience while you're over there." Hudler - "Okay boss, see you in a couple of years." Who knows, we might have a Hudler in his prime and way under paid for his production and scoring value to the team. Perhaps Holland discovered another loop hole in the system. -
You forgot: 1961

I don't know anyone who suggested Howard should start in the post season. We all know Osgood gets the nod.

Thought you weren't going to address me anymore?

CristoWALL Lol. ^^ Hawks can't win the cup.

Don Cherry should just tell us how he really feels.

Williams teaching Leino?

Yeah that Hossa is a real stud when it comes to the regular seasons. Besides, Jordan's Bulls never had to rely on someone like Cristobal Huet to be their most important player come playoff time. The Wild beat the Hawks tonight. Yes, you heard that right... a 12th seed team that probably won't even make the playoffs put six past Cristobal Huet. Hawks only managed 25 shots on goal. Huet is going to be awesome in the playoffs
